QQ Cap 232 EX Maiden Flight with ChuckT

Was able to get out early for a very quick flight before the heat hit again and i must say this plane is awesome! Had my knees a clanging as i am really not used to such a finely tuned big 6s 3D plane. It is very responsive! But as said this is just a quick look at it! Will try to get some more flight footage soon. A big Thanks to Quique & David from Flex Innovations and a big Thank You to you for watching.........

Hi Chuck, love your videos. With any 3D plane you need really large amounts of expo (not trying to tell how to suck eggs), will make it a lot easier to fly while still giving you max movements when needed. Grahame

TheJahful Are you on drugs boofhead ? What’s your problem?? The plane flew & flew well Chuck didn’t claim to be an expert 3D pilot. He even suggested to go check out the video on the Flex website. Chuck is a very accomplished pilot. Better than he gives himself credit for. & you obviously have no idea about the heat here in the Australian summer 46 deg Celsius is fucking hot & he didn’t fly it so he didn’t fuck the plane. 🖕🏻

The Mamba flies lovely I have one and had not problems with it, pretty similar to the qq extra 300 love both planes. This will be my next buy.

Does this replace the Mamba 10 as your favourite go to plane?

Not yet still got to give it a good flying session. It will be hard to beat the Mamba 10 as that fits in the car set up and uses 3s batteries which i have a lot of. So as a go to plane the Mamba 10 is hard to beat! But! when it comes to the BIG planes on 6s i think this one will be right up there.

I just followed the instructions you read them? here's the CofG part CENTER OF GRAVITY VERIFICATION The center of gravity (CG) location for the QQ Cap 232EX is located 4-1/8 inches (105mm) AFT of the rear-most side of the landing gear slot and is measured by lifting the completed airplane upright, with all components installed. This location was determined from many test flights by designer and multi-time world aerobatic champion, Quique Somenzini. Lift the airplane from the underside of the wing to check CG.

Kwb07: If you stop the video at 0:17, you'll see that this plane could be consider a 'mid-wing' plane with the center rod going through mid-height of the fuselage. Centering upright is accurate in this case.
