$15.95 for a pack of 48 labels, and 1 free year with a limit of one pack's worth of label, then $11.95 per year to read my labels. Unfortunately just another product that requires a subscription.

Yes, lots of companies are moving to the subscription model now due to how fast technology is changing. Its a constant battle to keep an app like this updated with all the mobile carriers etc updating their operating systems all the time. The cost for that is always ongoing, its a challenge to balance unit price with longevity of service.
