it should never be lost on any one, when discussing all the tech jargon of what Qui does, that besides his daring to go beyond and experiment with these various effects and such, is a strong foundation of incredible melodious tunes and chord changes that he comes up with consistently.

this video has made me want a H9 even more now. Nice sounds. Nice playing

I’ve been using an H9 with the EHX SuperEgo and Earthquakes Avalanche Run, I find the combination works great for me. The H9 only does one effect at a time with the exception of very few combis. However I am a guitar player number one and a keyboardist 2nd so I have many FX to choose from already, but those three I mentioned can do just about anything!

Those are some fantastic sounds. I love it. Very useful for the type of live things I play. Lots of pads. Do you feel you use the whole of H9 Max or would one of the other versions serve well too?
@quirobinez8 жыл бұрын
I use almost all 44 algorithms, but i like the four as shown in the video the most. So in that case a H9 core with those 4 algorithms bought for the core would be a great package. But eventually an H9 Max will be a lot cheaper if you plan to use more algorithms, instead of buying all those algorithms seperately

Nice job, I need your recommendation how to learn programming Kronos sounds from scratch any resources other than parameter guid, it's very complicated

i have several programming from scratch videos on my channel, i would suggest to start with: Korg Kronos Tutorial: 18 How to create a pad sound in the HD-1 engine

I’ve found external guitar effects to be noisier in comparison to the Kronos effects, except for high-end multi-FX processors. Routing through VST effects though I’ve found much more useful, especially Guitar Rig for the Kronos stock guitars which are pretty awful - well the leads are useless without amp and mic modelling. Thanks Qui very informative as ever and thanks for your free sounds, love the Angel Choir and a lot of others you give away on your site. How do you find the Pa4x? I had the pa1x and hated it - I grew up using arrangers so thought things would be awesome - sadly I find them extremely restrictive and prefer Karma or even 2 arps to the arrangers.

New user question: do you need an audio interface to engage Kronos and the external pedal into the recorder system ? I guess that adding a pedal will disable the USB audio connection of the Kronos

Hello Qui, you haven't post any video about the Kronos for more than one year. I was wondering if you had given it up ? Thanks for your answer.
@quirobinez7 жыл бұрын
wow, more then one year? didn't thought of that, i'm going to post some new material in the next few weeks. That's way to long to neglect the kronos.

I've had both the Kronos 2 73 and the M3 61.. had to sell them both. Rebuying now and I am really leaning towards the M3. Since I had the most creative experience on it, and it felt better with the exb radias board in it aswell. What do you think? Do you ever miss your old Korg M3?
@quirobinez7 жыл бұрын
i would buy the synth that gave me the most creative ideas, for me it's the kronos but the m3 was also a great synth, if you liked the m3 more, then i would go for the m3 in your case.

Why in heavens name do you need external effect ? In stead using the enormous Many effect in the kronos.
@liviou20047 жыл бұрын
Good question ! I agree with you. But, as a matter of fact, Eventide H9 or Space provide such a huge amplitude wich exceeds the Kronos effects, as goog as they be, that it could be a very good addition to it.
