I like the point system, because the show feels the most fun when there's too many cooks in the kitchen. The chaos is entertaining. There can also be scaling recipe difficulty and points awarded as days go on, so that nobody is truly out of the running towards the end if they do poorly early on

As a VOD viewer I'm happy those views went into consideration, I watched both vods and edited videos for support and i like to see how they are edited.

I really like switching to the point system, it can suck if you really only know 1 or 2 of the contestants and they're the first ones to lose, meaning you have to wait until the finale to maybe see them again

I think the timing was always hard for me to watch live, I would either be at work or the gym. I love the idea of people being able to participate at home in some way!

I can’t watch live during the week but I like that the KZbin cuts are posted pretty soon after. I think keeping everyone is a good idea, the chaos of the first couple days when everyone is there is the most fun.

i noticed the camera was a lot better than season one's :) viewership was tough bc so much was going on that week but i don't think it took too much of a hit considering all of that

The eliminations are fun moments but I think having all the bakers work everyday is gonna be great. Watching Cinna struggle to make the other things this season would have been great fun and I'm also not a huge fan of the fan vote saving thing and think it just adds more animosity between fans than the positives. Really liking the sound of your new format I think it will be the best of both worlds (also should be good for viewer numbers because I'm sure there's some out there that only watch for their specific streamer and would stop when they're eliminated).

This is the Master Baker that I watched thoroughly and enjoyed, but for next season I hope the constestant get an advantages of sneak peak to recipe or QT's help in every episode so the dish result not ends in unedible level (Cinna's impact)

Yea.. But I also wonder if Cinna was doing a bit because she had to go home early or something. Probably not, but it did feel like she was kinda trying to go home, especially with how she peaced out entirely lol

no eliminations and doing points is definitely going to be a great change. Somehow incorporating the chat "saving" someone would make it more fun. Maybe last place gets -1 and chat saving them gives them a floor of 3rd place?

The cook-along winner should have the same role in the finale that Connor has this year. They get a Southwest Airlines ticket and a Holiday Inn Express room in LA to be a helper for one of the contestants and help judge.

If we get a points system for next year we need to have like punishments and rewards for the winners, maybe teaming up weaker bakers with stronger bakers and giving them different tasks. There is certainly some room to make cool twists with it. With that said I think chat voting is a fun moment for the stream so I'd like them to be able to choose teams or challenges to some degree too.

Regarding the with a fan comment and issue, the potential solution is matching each individual fan along with a streamer/content creator so that the average joe can still have a "I want Ludwig's team" or "Samwitch's Team" mentality while still having fans compete.

I think this is the right direction to go towards. Keeps the entertainment value high all throughout the days. Bad cooking > Great cooking > mediocre cooking. I remember when she ran a poll on her main asking how many days people would want the competition to be and I suggested something similar.

Idea for fan incorporation. Have all the people you bring tell their fans that they should bake along. After each day of the competition, all the contestants review submissions from their fans and bring the best looking one onto the next days stream, they are voted on and earn points for their streamer. (This would be a lot of work for the competitors, and missing the important taste element, BUT I think its cool to include the audience, and might see some funny looking things)

The mentions of a contestant's name isn't a great indicator, since some communities are dedicated spammers especially ones with a younger audience (unless they're Forsen Bajs)

i'm sure this is a rec you've gotten/considered already, it might be fun to do something like GBBO does for the technical challenge where they provide some of the instructions for a more technical/complicated recipe, but leave out key details so that the contestants have to try and fill in the gaps. maybe you can show contestants the "how you're supposed to make this thing" videos you show chat, but maybe the version you show the streamers goes faster/skips over parts. also i wanna chime in as another vod/edited-down episode watcher! i didn't catch anything live but i've loved watching all three seasons on youtube!

Personally if she wants higher viewership she should shift it to the holidays. Obviously contestants will be more busy, but viewers tend to have more downtime and cooking content is a lot more in mind with festivities

I mean she’ll never see this but it actually did better in hours viewed/hours live. 215,397/17=12,670 and 225,413/19=11,863. So the only metric it did worse in was peak viewership.

The production quality was pretty meh. I would expect more professionalism and quality esp after 3 seasons. It was still enjoyable though, it was just a bit messy.

You're right tho. Loved all the creators, loved the content, but the experience wasn't great when the contestants and judges weren't mic-ed up. You could hear all the ambient noise and the banter or bits relied on how close they were to the streaming device (?). I think investing in mics alone would bring up the production by a lot.

Enjoy any show you put on. Cinna arguably is the most entertaining Twitch streamer of the group so I was sad to see her go so soon. I know nothing about Connor or what he does but it was good people really liked him.
