​@@blackgothicrose89 exactly Miyoung has spend so much time and effort in keeping Nabi alive. He has so many issues including heart issues it's beyond a miracle he's still alive. This isn't a case of breeding or bad pet ownership. Miyoung loves that dog with all her heart. And she's making sadly his last moments as best as possible.

I guess all my other points and objections about owning another living thing just disappear because the living thing is “old”. What I want for him would be to never been created/bread so that this little rat dog wouldn’t be an accessory or object to just look at and own. Like in the same way you buy sculpture or a piece of art and you put it in your house. You can love both of them and they can bring meaning and fulfillment to your life. The problem is one of them is a living thing and the other one is just an inanimate object used as art. People go to whatever insane lengths to continue to justify The personification of other living things. Falsely attributing and enforcing their perceptions on to another living thing that they have no right to and I have no way of knowing if it applies. Humans are peak personify-ers and it’s how we can empathize between each other but it’s also insanely detrimental and presumptive to have the Extreme hubris to think you understand what’s going on inside of another animal and then applying human attributes and behaviors to it, even though it’s nothing like a human. And why any of those things would apply no one has any reason to think they would you just feel good when you do it. I’m not immune to this. Again this isn’t a criticism of Myoung personally I’m sure she cares for her dog. No I genuinely think she actually does care. (caring doesn’t absolve her of anything but at least she cares, as much as that can mean) And it’s great that you think that defending her every action is your responsibility. She doesn’t care about me or anything I have to say, clearly as she owns another living thing. But the only reason the thing exists is because humans decided to create this little retarded rat monster. This is exactly the reason why this is bad breeding and bad on its face, as just ownership of another living thing, is clearly the problem. It’s not my fault If you don’t see the problem that. There is a fundamental moral problem with that but if you refuse to acknowledge it doesn’t make it disappear. You can take care of prisoners and meet all of their needs and be a genuinely caring overseer, but they’re still prisoners. It’s a personal zoo of one. There’s no escaping that reality. Whatever thinly veiled façade you apply to pet ownership begins to flake and chip away at the slightest recognition that it’s really weird to legally own another living thing, with the right to kill it whenever you want, and all the terrible things that come with the pet trade, that you are implicitly and explicitly supporting by buying a pet and all of the associated items with pet ownership. But I get it, the animal looks cute and has Big round eyes and a big forehead. Something we’re biologically engineered to think is cute because that’s what human babies look like. Just like you can see a face in the back of a car or in the electrical outlet. Personification is something that happens without our choice or thought. Your thought process is based entirely on your personal feelings and immoral and incorrect personification. How can I make an impassioned plea for other living things when it feels like a personal attack against who you are as a person, even though pet ownership is not a personality type. It’s an action that you chose either through societal pressure or loneliness and deemed it morally OK because you saw other people do it. And never really looked into the harms it caused. How can I ever stand up to the rigorous argument and thought process of: “it’s cute and I love it. Shut up and leave me alone. I feel self-conscious when someone questions my decisions that I didn’t think out The repercussions at all“. Onto the other persons point of “Making his last moments in life Sadly as his best moments”. So only at the end of his life she should treat him better? That’s what you’re implying because if his life wasn’t as good before then why didn’t she treat him better then? And by best moments you mean loudly yell incoherently at an animal not understanding or capable of hearing what you said then picking him up. If only my life was so awesome that my best moments was someone yelling at me then picking me up. If you haven’t noticed pet ownership = bad. The pet trade is an evil greedy lying scheme that steals animals from nature or perverts them for the sale and ownership to humans for solely personal reasons. Devoid of any compassion or caring for the commodity of living animals. But I get it dog is cute, I lose because what I’m pointing out is inherently negative and upsetting and just thinking everything is perfect and happy is easier. The lie is easier to swallow.
