English broadcast of the 7th and final game of the Adams Division finals between the Québec Nordiques (2) and the Montréal Canadiens (1) live from the Montréal Forum on the 2nd of May 1985.
The year before, in 1984, the Canadiens and the Nordiques had also met in the playoffs. Montréal won in six games. For the 1985 Stanley Cup playoffs, it was the third playoff series meeting between the two teams since the Nordiques joined the NHL in 1979.
In the first round, Montréal had won in 5 games against the Boston Bruins and the Nordiques also won against the Buffalo Sabres in 5 games.
