The best interpretation of Chinese civilization is the one of wisdom integration model. The simplest example is the integration of early India Buddhism into local Taoism and Confucianism to become Chinese Mahayana Buddhism. In the 21st century, it will refine valuable Western-style democracy and freedom and integrate it into modern Chinese civilization. This is the so-called modern Chinese cultural renaissance movement.

it is not that China does not accept others ethnicity. It had passed all that. For thousands of years it accepted migrants from countries around, out of wars or from migration. Those ethnic groups living alongside with Hans, settling down and assimilated by the locals . On the other hand, Western countries had just beginning the journey ( multi-ethnicities) . The West have a long way to go. Compare a 5000 years civilization with a 300 - 500 years civilization was a waste of time
Another great piece of interview with Yang. He is the best ex-diplomat who understands China to full extent. Hope more westerners can lean in and listen to what he says.
Prejudice often arises from misunderstandings and insufficient knowledge about others' experiences and cultures. To combat this, fostering open dialogue, education, and empathy is essential. By enhancing awareness and understanding, we can promote a more inclusive and harmonious society.
[We know it's hard to change the mindset and behaviors of the mafia boss in a community. But, sorry, people. It's time for the world to move on from America's dictatorship on international order] The US was created upon European immigration and colonization, African slave trade, genocide of aboriginal people, and conquest and forced annexation of foreign territories. Rampant racism against minorities, widespread drug abuse, frequent gun violence, cruel exploitation of new immigrants as cheap labor, ridiculous gap between rich and poor, looting of global wealth through addictive money printing, economic and military coercion of "allies and foes" around the world, bombing and killing of millions of civilians in foreign lands under the cover of "human rights, democracy and liberty", are some of the key features of American led so called "rule based international order". The American tyranny of dictatorship on international order based on lie fabrication, economic coercion and military bullying will soon come to a slow end, following the outcry from the world against the atrocities happening in Gaza. A truely open, free and democratic international order based on UN Charter will be restored for all of humankind, which is exactly what the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative and Global Civilization Initiative are looking for.

George Yeo is right. China has a long history. Many questions can be answered by studying Chinese history. For instance, what will be the end result of massive money printing by a nation? You will find answer in Chinese history.
From this interview, I noticed a viewpoint that leaders in the Chinese government, including their leadership team, have a unique and core task for each term they serve. We should look at it from a human perspective, as most people don't differ significantly in their abilities and thought processes, including their energy levels. There’s a Chinese saying that goes, "Do one thing well at a time." So aside from occasional, unexpected, or predictable events, everything else is just part of the system that needs to be managed, but it doesn't have to be resolved perfectly. Everything should serve the core task.
On the contrary, it is not about China winning the mind of the global west. It is about the global west setting itself to contain China for the meteoric achievement of China's progress and modernisation. The USA will not hesitate to suppress and stop China from achieving it's economic success, the way it did to Japan. It is not as though they are so stupid. John Meishemer is not a stupid professor. He advocate that China's rise must be contained for the sake of the USA continued hegemon and unipolarity.
Global South also don't see positive change in seeing US distance from authoritarian when he keeps seeking to keep hegemony in global stage, and G7 with legacy in colonialism still center on Uncle Sam's hegemony.
That’s the Chinese government view the religions as well as the religion do not interfere or monopolize the policy of the country the peacefully purchased that’s fine
