Thanks Mike for giving me your advice on these lights. I am soooo happy with them. I bought a set of 4 of these from you and these are incredible fixtures. They're very bright and very easy to control with a DMX controller.

Several reasons George. First off, we are ALMOST as expensive as the American DJ and Chauvet, but in some cases alot less expensive, but regardless we are NOT as expensive since we deal direct with the end user. Second, we test and use our products in cooperation with New York Party Productions on both large scale and small scale private and corporate events before we even start selling a new product to road test it. Only when we feel it is ready, do we offer it to our customers. So we are not a big box company just selling boxes, we are also the end user using the products in real world situations which means we are better equipped to help our customers. Third, we have outstanding support that sets us apart from the competition. Besides online video demos and tutorials on each product, we also offer direct support via phone with the owner of the company. We have heard countless complaints from our customers who have dealt with other companies and the issues are always the same: dealing with employees who can't answer specific questions or problems. Usually you have to wait to speak with the head tech guy when he gets around to calling you back. We answer immediately 7 days a week and if there is ever a problem that we can't solve over the phone and you need to send a light in for repair, you get it back within a week as opposed to several weeks to a month or two as with other companies. We have been growing rapidly over the past 5 years and it mainly due to our commitment to customer service, quality products and competitive pricing.

How are these different from the sublime kind?? They look exactly the same to me the only thing different is the sticker with your conpany's name instead of sublime... Oh and the price mark up But in interested in hearing what makes these better and more expensive

If i buy 2 of theese for small gigs with acoustic duo, can I connect them togeather and put in some sort of automatic mode widout controler?? just to mix red green and blue colour and move around stage in a simple mode??? is this possible widout controler and cables?? we don't have Das light profiles, only freestyler and sunlit suite 2 profiles on our site. do you own this unit? if you didn't buy from us the profile won't work as every manufacturers DMX channel assignments are slightly different.

The Lumin Lights Brand version does not have a remote. Our units have built in shows or are controlled via dmx. You must be talking about another brands unit.

Good morning luminglights, I am from Colombia, I would like you to help me with a problem that are presenting my moving heads, I have 3 Easy Whas Quad of 7 * 10 watt Quadcolor LED / RGBW, I have them under control with MyDMX 2.1 software and the problem that are showing that one of them shows RED, GREEN, BLUE, but WHITE does not show it unless RED, GREEN and BLUE are to the limit. The other only shows the BLUE color and the other only shows the RED and BLUE colors and their respective combinations. What could be the cause of this problem? many thanks in advance Luminglights.

I just got this fixture and under sound active mode it repeats the same pattern as auto mode fast and strobes a lot in both.. How can I make mine stay on like yours does in sound active and auto?

Yes it is. Simply hook 2 lights together, set the second unit to slave mode in the menyu and your done.

I have two of these and it is giving me issues. I tried to reset it and it will not work. All lights are working but dim Is there a "hard reset"?

we have discontinued this product. I would try asking for the seller you bought your from as the channels from manufacturer to manufacturer are different. even though the housings look the same (because they are off the shelf parts) the insides and programming vary from company to company.

This is a wash head with a 25 degree beam. We also have a beam version of this moving head called the Dagger that has a 7.5 degree beam. You can see it here: Dagger Beam Moving Head

They are neither Blizzard lights or "subline garbage lights". They are Lumin Lights brand fixtures. To be honest, though both Blizzard and our company buy these lights from the same manufacturer in China. The quality is good and if there ever are any problems, we back up the product with a 2 year warranty as well as online and phone support.

Hi Everyone, just to answer a few questions in earlier posts: 1. Freestyler fixture profile is available to existing customers by emailing us. 2. We use A grade LEDs in all our fixtures, plastic circuit boards (vs, cheaper paper boards), We have a written 2 year warranty on our products, we have one of the strongest support policies in the industry with online demos and tutorials and phone and email support. If a light ever malfunctions and you need it immediately for a gig and can't wait for it to be mailed in, fixed and returned, then we can mail you thew needed parts and walk you through the swap out of the defective part. We have been in business over 5 years and have a great track record as far as customer satisfaction. 3. Anyone interested in price should see our website or call us as prices do change over time. We do not give out pricing on youtube as a year later the price could go up or down. 4. We do not buy from Rock professional as we use higher quality components than that company. Many people are selling lights online and even though the housing and specifications of company x or company z LOOK IDENTICAL TO OURS, THEY ARE NOT. The housings for all lights, wether our company, Chauvet, American DJ, Blizzard, etc. are all off the self parts. Manufacturers then choose their components for the inside and the quality of the parts can vary. Then there is the quality of the assembly and soldering which can effect the quality and longevity of the light and finally there is the programming that takes place on the chips to make the light function in a user friendly way not to mention the built in programs which can vary from horrible to fantastic. So don't be fooled by price and the outer housing. Do your homework and contact the various companies and gather as much info. to educate yourself. The last thing you want is to waste money on inferior products that don't work or even worse, break down in the middle of an event causing you money and embarrassment.. Been there, done that, not fun. I own and run a production company and that is why I started Lumin Lights. I was tired of all the problems I was having with other lights. I test and use the lights we sell on many high end NYC events so we are not just selling product. We have practical use experience of our products and in doing so are constantly making refinements and improvements to our products.

you have to make and install a fixture profile on your my DMX software. American DJ should have given you a fixture profile creation software as part of your my DMX package. Use the DMX chart from the lights manual to fill in the appropriate fields in order to create the profile and then install it into your software. We do not use MYDMX so don't have profiles for that software, but if you can't figure it out on your own, you can always contact American DJ and send them the DMX chart and ask them to make a profile for you.

We don't have any dealers in Los Angeles yet but you can always purchase one sample unit and return it if it is not to your liking. Just make sure if you do return it that all accessories and packaging are in the same condition as when you receive the light.

all depends on your application. If your using it as a wash light for the floor or walls, then you don't need smoke. If you want to see the beam cutting through the air, then you need smoke. As far as watts, it's about 90 (70 or the bulbs and about 20 for the motors and fan.

Just sw your second comment. The dongle box I use in this video is the Enttec USB pro and the software I use is Freestylermx. There are different dongles for ifferent sotware however, so th dongle can vary based on th software used.

I've never heard of this company before so I don't know anything about their product. Questions to ask are 1. what is their written warranty, 2. What kind of support do they have in place for their products, 3. what is the quality of the LED bulbs they use - grade A, Grade B or recycled? 4. Do they paper circuit boards or plastioc? 5. How long is the company in business and what is their track record as far as customer satisfaction?

No need to shout. There is a video showing the beam. This video is the tutorial that shows you how to use the light. That is why it only shows a close up of the light.
