Gary Nicklaus just repowered his with quad 300, it had quad 400’s, it lost a few mph but gained mpg, overall he’s happy, definitely a good call to sell @ or near 1000hrs. Bahamas are the best, they haul ass and that 41 rides smooth……..shout out to the Boat MD

I hangout in gwana key working in Baker's Bay.I'm in the bahamas about once a month 2 weeks Add a time . My buddy has a 41 foot Bahamas.Custom that I frequently ride on. I always wondered about the fuel economy.Is that per engine or total of all the motors?20 km 16 gallons burned at .80 gnm?

That fuel economy number is total for the boat. I can break it down to see the total fuel flow per engine per hour (gph), but I have no use for that. I just watch total economy and total fuel flow.

why not just use the common measurement....you are just confusing people with knots vs. miles and blaming us for asking questions. I am unsubscribed.

I did not blame anyone for asking any questions. I was just making it clear that I use knots and nautical miles on a boat because a lot of people were confused in the Freeman video and made false comments because of it. And nautical terms are a very common measurement on boats. I have been raised using knots and nautical miles and when I was training everything was done in nautical terms so that is what I use. Working in the boating world, many many people still use nautical terms.

Step hull is just a marketing gimmick

Stepped and non-stepped both have an application. A stepped hull can only shine when the steps can actually break free, which is not always feasible in a heavy sea.
