It's not as expensive as you'd think. These 3rd world countries are rather dirt cheap.. Tickets to these 'attractions' are the most expensive of your trip. Food & lodging are very affordable.

Wow, what a view from the quadcopter! That is an impressive look at the megalithic wall. It really is massive and could not have been built by the Inca. I did not realize that so much of the site remains buried. Can't wait to see what discoveries come forth. Thanks for a wonderful presentation Brien.

I feel as though I was cheated in school. Places like this have been bothering me for 20 years, certain things that I learned in school just didn't seem to make sense. Come on people, do you honestly believe that this was done with soft metal tools! Thanks for shedding more light on these mysteries. It's a shame that people are afraid to admit that they have put out inaccurate information. Keep up the great work!

We were all lied to in school and still are by media It's obvious they had more knowledge in the past We rely on so called technology and have become lazy and ignorant Seems we're waking up and starting to think for ourselves again and can smell what science has been shoveling us

@Craig Bartel totally agree We went to school with some of the people who now have the misguided conception that they have authority over us... Simply because they kiss ass and put colleagues before truth and justice.. That's why the world is as it is... Greed and ego and solidarity between them Simply sell your soul an they let ya join in the slaughter of the weak and innocent

@Craig Bartel science is becoming more open and truthful as genuine people with ap passion for research are setting up labs even at home.. So soon the days of corporations paying science to find the results they want them to find are numbered as Joe blogs can check for himself and not every Joe will take a bribe and with the Internet and secure under the net Internet a bullet isn't fast enough to buy silence either So the tide is turning Just hope there not hard losers!!!

I was wondering, if the rock came from so far then maybe transporting rock wasn't so difficult, and then if not difficult maybe the saw tooth wall was built quickly and with coming floods in mind? Could such a wall design disrupt the power of a flood? I've no idea if the floods even got/could get so high, just thinking aloud.

Thanx Brien Forster!

If you look at the mountains after it little to the left you see two lines going upwards what is that is it a building or maybe two walls and a road to something filtup with sand?

Brien, this place doesnt look like a place that was built to be defended. Its walls dont appear to be used to keep out invaders. Is it more of a monument built as a tribute?
@helgoland65375 жыл бұрын
Did the wall goes all around? I cant see it the quadcopter is too far.
@disklamer4 жыл бұрын
What were they trying to keep out? What were they protecting themselves from, for the walls to be this massive. It's a lot of work if it was just to keep out humans and pumas, and also probably not particularly effective against humans or pumas. So what was the threat? Megafauna? Mudslides? Floods in the valley? To me it looks very much like it was built to break up either tidal/floodwaves, or a mudslide.

Although I appreciate the efforts of these offerings, I often wonder how the so called experts are so sure that structures are temples and that surely sacrificial events occurred in specific places. Ultimately so called facts presented are pure opinions and speculation. A narrow range of information presented by someone who was not there and an interpretation of specific information that may not have relevance. Not a negative comment, just saying a lot of speculation occurs based on current ideas vs historical lack of information.
