Nice comparison Felix. Lol, I'm a drone hoarder. I have them all except the mini 2. I'll probably grab that after Christmas. Each one is great for their specific purposes. I keep the mini with me when I travel and with me at all times. The Air 2 is my go to drone for all around everything. If I want some really great pics and vids, I break out the Pro 2. Btw, If anyone here has a Pro 2, I highly recommend Felix's Pro 2 Playlist. I learned a lot from it and I go back to reference from time to time. I am in no way a professional and the tips really help!

Hey Eric, thanks for tuning in again! I think we can start a group. Lol. Drone hoarders anonymous. The mini 2 is a great little quad. If you already have the mini I can see why it’s the latest to get “upgraded” :). I really have enjoyed and used my mavic 2 pro extensively personally and professionally. Love that quad. I am really excited for the mavic platform. Hope they keep up the innovation. Appreciate your kind words! Always glad to see the regulars in the comments.

We definitely need a group Felix, hahahaha!! After I commented earlier, I brought out the Pro 2 and flew around down by the river. Clear, but cold day in Pittsburgh, but was a lot of fun. Been working a lot lately and it was nice to just zen out for a few. :)

Great overview,👍👌I have the Air 1 and now the Mini 2 after I sold my Mini 1. I mostly will fly the Mini 2 that’s simply awesome for the price but in strong winds I rely on my Air 1. Also the Air 1 has obstacle avoidance and is under 500gr. that’s important to fly till 2023 with a standard drone license in the EU. Maybe I will upgrade from Air 1 to Air 2 later next year or in 2022 when the Air 2 has the desired CX EU label that the current Air 2 does not have in EU! Keep this great video’s coming. Great video but i just have the Mavic Mini and a non Dji Mavic Drone but the Dji Phantom 4 that is an excellent Drone and really enjoying it.

Felix I've put my 3 together, Mavic pro 2, Mavic air 2, and the baby of them all the Mini 2. The mini looks so tiny now. Good video for people wanting their first drone. 👍 be interesting if the Mini 2 will ever run on our smart controller?

Hey Rooney, thanks for tuning in again! It's funny when you actually put them together right? Of course we know that one is smaller than the other but until you put them side by side or ontop, it doesn't really click 100% in my brain haha. I really do hope we will get SC support. Would entice more to jump on the Smart Controller train i think :).

Hello Felix I have the mavic air 2 its a great drone I never cared for the mini one the mini 2 looks pretty cool but dont want to downgrade I'll wait for the mini 3 to come out anyway your presention is very informative about all the drones and feautures thats why I enjoy watching stay safe keep flying.

Perfect timing. I'm going to buy a new drone in the next few days. My Mini 1 is great, but the wind resistance isn't. I'll probably get the Air 2, but that M2P camera.....🤤 I'll get the M2P if I can find a cheap used one.

I’m still very happy with my air 2 but I probably wouldn’t have upgraded if the og mini was the mini 2. Poor little guy couldn’t handle Montana wind but it sure tried. Once I learned how to use nd filters I was happy with the images overall

Hey Craig thanks for tuning in again! The mavic air 2 is a solid upgrade over the mini. You are right it would have been a bit tougher to go mini 2 to mavic air 2. I betcha the new dji fpv drone will be able to find the Montana wind ;) lol.

Nice review and comparison. Just a quick question, mini 1 uses LiIon, mini 2 uses LiPo. I actually think for a beginner who doesn’t know about LiPos I think LiIons are actually better...

Hey ROM, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Much appreciated! Li-Ions are a bit easier and a touch less temperamental. Luckily the DJI lipos are all intelligent batteries so at some point they all discharge on their own if they are left alone. No matter what chemistry extra care should be taken when dealing with any kind of lithium battery. Thanks for stopping by!

@@Quadcopterguide , I know, but even if they are intelligent I got swollen batteries on my phantom 3 and 4, mavic pro, mavic 2.... And don't even talk about my fpv drone batteries.

Hey Philippe, thanks for tuning in again! Appreciate you being a subscriber. Great question. I guess it depends what you want it for, regulation free flying, ultra compactness, or does it have to be relatively good at flying in a breeze. Mini 2 is nice for always having it with you. If where you live there is always a bit of a breeze then Air 2. The Air 2 edges out the Mini 2 on video and photo features, so i guess it just depends on your exact use-case.

I have the mini 2 which i got a month ago as my 1st drone.I like the looks of the Air 2 but Skydio 2 has my attention it's just the price of their combos are horrid.I'm upgrading for better control in higher winds but mainly obstacle avoidance
