Quadra-Fire® 3100i Wood Insert: Maintenance Video

I own a 3100 step top wood stove. I discovered a crack across the back of the fire box. I took it to the mafacturer in Colville WA and was told that I had voided the waranty by "over firing" the stove. I have never burned anything but quality firewood in the stove and have never had it close to being red hot. Not even close. I like the stove but the "lifetime waranty" doesn't seem to hold any water.

Have you resolved the matter? I am shopping wood stoves currently and considering a Quadrafire. Should I not consider this brand?

I am shopping as well. Did you get that quad fixed, or resolve the dispute?

if any thing goes wrong with my quadrafire 2700i they will eat it or I will get my lawyer involved

Just wanted to know when to start the acc system

+Rodney Hendricks thank you for reaching out to us. You would want to set the Automatic Combustion Control when you build your fire, and it will control the fire for you. When using the ACC system, you do not have to continually monitor the fire.
