My carb number isn’t listed. Has a YZ suffix on the end of the numbers. Can you tell me what it originally was on? It was removed from a 72 Corvette 350 auto but don’t believe it’s original for that car By the way. Ordered a calibration kit from you and rebuilt the carb. It’s more than perfect. Very nice 👍🏻

Hello, Great vedios. Im working on a Q jet 7042210 72C10 pickup 350 engine with 416 305 heads and about 9.9 compression. Howards cam 255/261 adv. duration 201/207@50 with 114 centers flat tappet. going just run ram horn manifolds and holley street dominator daul plane intake for a low rpm mileage engine with 700R4 tranny and 3.73 gears. Stock getting for that carb is 74 jets with 43 rods on primarys and DA on the secondarys with L hanger. Do I want to make any changes to the stock jetting anywhere or leave it all stock?

I have a 1983 water jet on a 5.3 LS and at Park throttle it pops if I stick my hand over the carburetor it origins of the mixture and runs better what Jets do you think I might need

if i'm at high elevation, around 5,500 - 6,500 feet, would i want smaller jets to lean it out?

Correct, one step smaller for over 5000', two steps smaller at 6000'. Also consider today's fuels. So if carb is original, go down one size for 6000'

i rebuilt my 1975 delta quad on a 350 engine it seems this carb had the power valve with the two rods then it looked like another power valve right in front or behind it can't remember with one rod on a spring do you know why this is? thanks

That is the altitude adjustment system that was attempted. It was short lived and replaced with the internal APT.

Power valve? Quadrajet doesn't have a power valve. Maybe you mean the power piston that holds the primary rods? The APT screw (adjustable part throttle) adjust how far down the piston can go.
