Learn effective self trigger point release for the Quadratus Lumborum muscle (QL).
It is important to understand that no muscle works in a vacuum. To fully release tension or trigger points in a muscle you must also release other muscles that do the same action, and the muscles that do the opposite action. This prevents the pain from returning.
Also, self trigger point release is only one part of the FreeBody Method. The path to healing also includes attention to active posture, breathing techniques, movement, & targeted stretching.

Hi have you a video on si joint issues that then radiate down a leg?Thanks

@@CatMatlock I would say it starts around left si area then goes down to calf towards left of leg. I wasn't sure if it was si issues or sciatica. It feels more like a toothache that appears after movement and walking. It can then radiate to near groin area on same side if really aggrivated.Resting relieves it. Had it for 2 years. I read that if it starts from si area its more likely to be si than true sciatica which starts mainly higher up but not sure!

How often should you do this per week?

2-3x/week is good. And it's super helpful to understand that gluteus minimus and gluteus medius trigger pts can activate trigger pts in the QL. And the glutes get activated by trigger pts in the inner thighs! So a REALLY good program to follow is: roll the inner thighs, roll the glutes, roll the QL as a grand finale!
