One thing to mention about AT rifles: don't use them to try to kill tanks. Use them to knock the tracks off and immobilize them. Then you can easily get an explosive charge on them or hopefully teammates can. That's how they were used historically too.

@@alexcane946 I can understand why. Unlike WT, Enlisted has quite a few competitors, and when new players see the grind and the unpolished jank, they turn off the game and go play HLL or CoD or Battlefield. I love Enlisted, but it really needs some fixing

Solid guide! The M1 Carbine and M3A1 Grease Gun happen to be one of my favourite low BR weapons for the Allies. Looking forward to that BR V Japan guide as well.

In my opinion you should take the extra minute or so to explain down tiering radio operators and MG squads to BR1. When grinding a new campaign I do that to lessen the silver grind while still being as competitive as possible with BR2. Also, STUGIII A is underrated in BR2 for Germany, you should keep that in mind when you do the Germany BR2 guide.

Just finished BR1 for the Allies and I agreed with your choices. I really enjoyed the Sten over the M3, and chose to upgrade that one over the others. I suffered through the sights of the base springfield, as it was good enough. M5 Stuart was also the tank I used the entire time and it was a beast, with the 2 MG's being really great to have in BR1 to support the mostly bolt action team. Never really got the hang of flying, so I didn't use my hurricane too much. I'm interested to hear what you think about Allies BR2, as there seem to be a lot more interesting choices there, compared to BR1.

Thank you so much for these guides, it's really helpful to get opinions on which weapons are worth upgrading/using for each factions etc. I'm personally an Axis/Japan player most of the time, but sometimes i do play with the other factions for fun. Maybe it's just me, but i do enjoy using these crappy weapons like M3, MP3008, VGs etc.

I would prefer to use M1903A1 USMC, because it has additional upgrade, while the default 1903 bolt rifle has only 3 upgrade slots. Also, the ring insight scope makes things bit easier to 'lock-on'

One small caveat on the AT squads vs Riflemen- AT Engineers can still build AT guns, so you can treat them as a secondary engineer squad (minus the AA gun). Furthermore, while the Boys may not be the best AT rifle in terms of penetration, it's still generally sufficient to snipe crewmen from the turrets of grayzoning tanks that you may not be able to drop a charge on. Good video nonetheless

I look forward to your Japanese Tier 1 deep dive. The Type 97 Anti-Tank Rifle is an awesome Tier 1 weapon for the Japanese. The Type 38 Rifle and the SL-100 Submachine Gun are also solid weapons for Tier 1 Japan.

That's basically the entire deep dive right there. All the other BR 1 stuff for Japan is not worth using. The planes are bad but you can use the A5M4 if you really want to, the tanks are awful but the ke-ni is the least bad probably, and that's it.

Correction on the M5A1's armour: the 63.5mm mentioned in the statcard is actually for the lower frontal plate covering the transmission. The upper plate that you point out is 28.5mm with the angle giving it an effective thickness of roughly 40mm.

Hey quadro, as a enlisted vet from before the rework who has rediscovered enlisted I can say that BR 1 is everything that battelfield 1 should have been and more. Bolt actions are dominant when capable hands use them, and it's sad to see you just gloss over them and say things like 'br 1 is... you have a sten' nothing could be further from the truth. The USMC springfield has much better reload if starred, and the regular bolty has really clean sights and a really smooth reload animation. Together with the br 1 boys AT rifle wich is a dominator against tanks (short range can utilize weak spots in armor, long range: SHOOT THE TRACKS!! Trust me you will annoy tankers into leaving their tank and effectively robbing the enemy team of a vehicle, two if you do it right. I agree with you that br2 is where some really good things happen but please don't put a downer on br1, your influence can mean a lot to the future of that br. It's the only one that is truly safe from the masssive full-auto spam that seems to ruin fps games the last 10 years.

6:36 64 mm of armor, that is correct, but if you look at the 3d model of the vehicle you will notice only the lower front plate is that thick. Upper front plate is ~20mm sloped, that means german 37mm and above chews through that. And no, stewarts do not have good armor in general. Otherwise solid guide/review!

Best allied bolt action for BR 1-2. I think the Ross is the best but the cost to fully upgrade is insane when compared to USMC. Plus no bayonet.

Statistically speaking, the Sten is superior to the Grease Gun but I personally can't deal with the Sten's horrendous sights. I'm probably not alone. It's dificult to keep track of the Sten's sights while the M3 doesn't have this issue, and I think that when you combine the M3's bigger damage, the Sten loses.

I used the M3 first on a recommendation similar to this- better sights, better damage, better range But I found the M3 miserable to use in comparison to the Sten, to be perfectly honest. The M3's damage becomes kind of irrelevant with it's atrocious rate of fire, the Sten ends up having a significantly faster time to kill in most scenarios, and I deal so much more damage so much faster with it. Even at mid ranges, I find the Sten's sights to be perfectly manageable, and with some decent soldiers to reduce vertical recoil I find it's an absolute laser beam. Highly recommend the Sten over the M3.

@@kazimierzmalewicz3604 It takes up significantly more of the screen than the M3, which technically makes acquiring and keeping track of targets more difficult. But I personally didn't feel like it made a huge difference when I still use and prefer the Sten.

In the video you said the Hurricane has 250kg bombs but it actually has 250 lb bombs which is 113.4 kg. Not sure if the game accounts for the difference between 113.4kg and the 100kg that many other factions' planes have though.

The problem is the fact that silver and experience gains do not increase as you increase in BR. Higher BRs usually means more experienced players, which means you will be scoring less on average. Therefore, if you are grinding silver or xp, playing the lowest possible BR gives you the highest rewards. It's bad for the game, and it really needs to be fixed.

Same as all games. High tier people play low tier to make themselves feel like they are actually good at a game. They avoid high tier because they can't handle a challenge and instead prefer to call low tier noobs for a sense of superiority
