She's only 14 I thought she was an adult! My gosh she went from 1% chance of living to national championship on the trampoline as a quad amputee in 7 years! That's downright remarkable! I never knew meningitis could lead to amputation. My father has a leg amputation and I know how hard it is just to learn to walk again I can't imagine this girls spirit she's a strong one! Her family seem so supportive and proud of her I wish her and her family the best!

Hope nobody takes this comment in the wrong way, but in a way, she’s a bit lucky, that she had to learn everything and adjust earlier on. Would’ve been even harder for her if it happened to her as an adult. Bravo to her and her parents for not letting it get in the way of living her life as normal, if not even better than.

yeah, totally! so many ppl can take your words and completely take it wrong,. its hard to see heart sometimes when reading others words....its hard to express FEELING sometimes and things come out wrong! i get what your saying. My son was born without his right leg, and has a partial left leg, so things likely would of been alot different and harder in some cases if he had his natural legs and then lost them..! Children are so adaptable, and can mold to anything with the right attitude!

Hey Isabel, my name is Debbie. I just saw your You-Tube story! I admire your courage, your stamina, most of all I admire your determination and your attitude towards everything you do. It is a good thing to push ourselves, and it is also a good thing to know our limits. I broke my back 10 years ago this month. I have been disabled since then, not because, "I don't want to", but because of physical limitations I have 'skeletally', unless I choose to paralyze myself. Pain everyday, but it is manageable - without pain meds!!!! I have a NEUROSTIMULATOR implant attached to my Root Nerves that come right off the spinal chord. YEA AWESOME!!!!
