Thanks for the comment, and apologies for the delayed response! While we were filming, we had good coverage with Verizon... and AT&T as well as T-Mobile both show good service on their maps. Quail Creek is located near the town of Hurricane (the locals pronounce the town name 'Hurri-cun', just as a heads up), so if for some reason you're getting bad service, you're just a 5-10 minute drive away from the town to get back online.

The water looks really low. When is it highest? Can you walk down with a paddle board?

We haven’t seen it at its highest, but from what we can tell, yes, you can walk down to the lake with a paddle board. There is an entire beach area meant for play, chairs, day use tents, etc. so it’s pretty friendly and walkable.
