Quail Stand Cage Made From Recycled Kids Swing Set

This is a DIY quail stand/cage for easy keeping quail to use for eggs and meat. The frame used to make the quail stand was recycled from a children's play gym swing set.

Thanks - really!? (about the swing) Geez, I never realised it was dangerous... Yeah, good point about the chooks getting access to the manure. Look, I'm not qualified to answer TBH but I would say it should be OK as long as all the poultry is disease free. If they were scratching through wild bird poop that's a different story and I would be concerned. My chooks scratch through compost heaps, horse manure in the garden etc; however, a catchment (like a tray) could be used instead to stop it.

Thanks. Great idea to recycle a swing set (that should never be sold BTW as it is both unstable and with more than two swing elements not standards compliant). Just wondering about the chooks being given access to the fresh quail manure. Isn't there a contamination or cross infection problem?
