Yeah waste of tires and time.
@naturesdefiante013 жыл бұрын
Both practice and quali seem like a waste of time. Practice was cut short due to Tuercks crash, resulting in some getting a single lap that day before the event kicked off. Then quali, what's the benefit? A bye run they didn't actually get to run(from what I've seen) and you still face championship contenders whether your first or last. Bring back the lucky dip from last year, had far more interesting matchups.
@koncrete_kahuna8183 жыл бұрын

Something I've noticed particularly about the RTR mustangs is they have some kind of negative pressure vortex on either side in front of the rear wheel well where the smoke from the tires is sucked from behind the car to the side of the car. This makes it particularly difficult to follow them on their lead laps because the smoke is being blown directly into the follow car where the S15 tire smoke is being blown straight behind the car and making for an easy follow. I'm sure this is likely intentional and is probably something to consider to adjust the aero of the S15 to make for a better suited vehicle against the competition.
@DomGaccioli3 жыл бұрын
I’m glad someone else noticed this! Looks like RTR has possibly started using aero tweaks to be functional in terms of smoke control. One thing I saw this weekend though was how much the cabin would fill with smoke. Wonder if they could redirect some flow to reduce it. Again great eye!
@smurfvolvo3 жыл бұрын
Haha the more angle and the more smoke you produce will make it come out further forward under the car. You're overthinking it.

I've never noticed that before, that's some clever aero stuff right there
@RocksConcreteMinerals3 жыл бұрын
Your spot on. You can see it very clearly on Adam's follow
@jessemartin26983 жыл бұрын
@@smurfvolvo Nah, simple aerodynamics can make a big difference. Having some kind of feed towards the rear of the tires pointing sideways would be fairly easy to do and would make a good difference. An extreme example are some of Neighbours burnouts from Cleetus Mcfarland, where the exhaust is pointing in a similar way and the tire smoke goes out to the side like crazy.

6 hours of driving for both days really made the experience so much better than it looks on video. I encourage anyone to find the closest round to go to, and really just have fun. Talked to many drivers about their cars, and every single one is super chill about it and it's just a really exciting to talk to the people you've seen on social media. That’s what I saw. Chelsea did it first and adams first reaction was to follow. I like denofa but he should have lost something for causing that, it made it almost un-chase-able

@@andrewdashiell7873 the rules say that the lead driver has rights to initiate however they feel like and the chase driver has to adjust if any contact is made the chase driver gets the fault

It’s incredibly motivational to see you express your struggles mentally and physically, then come back at them with a positive attitude and give it your all even if you aren’t feeling too confident. Stand up guy and team 🏁 Definitely an idol

Looks like the mustangs entry took you off guard because he manji turn 1 you didn’t think he was going to do that. Definitely have to watch how the other drivers are on entry.

Chelsea's flick in would of thrown me off tbh, he kicked it out towards you and you steered away but it was too much for the tires.
