But being 8 tenths off the pace is way too much. 2 Drivers should be within about 0.3 seconds of eachother on a single lap according to Helmut Marko, their boss. If not, you don't extract the ultimate potential out of the car and thusly don't deserve a seat in the car.

I was there...they oversold GA by 50k...over 400k people attended over the three days. Getting out of there was a logistical nightmare. Literally stuck for hours and walking a half-mile to get to rideshare locations. For the money you spend to attend, you should never have to walk through fields of mud or be stuck for hours on end w/no way to get transportation out.

Yeah I mean its nice and all but he is clearly not on par with Gasly. Sure gasly is not the new boy in F1, but with the same car he can do so much more. They usually do their underperforming drivers like that. Estuvo genial la clasificación, muy emocionante, me hubiera encantado ver un 1-2 de RedBull pero creo que cada piloto hizo su trabajo, Max ganado la pole y quitando la hegemonía de Mercedes y Checo ganadoles a Bottas y a nada de quedar a delante de Lewis. probablemente haya sido mejor un 1-3, porque si los dos tenían a Hamilton detrás, la coordinación de la curva 1 podía volverse demasiado difícil y podría haber habido la chance de un choque entre los mismos RB. A como están las cosas, si Hamilton apuesta a lo seguro en la curva 1, Verstappen tiene la ventaja, y si arriesga, Checo tiene la ventaja

Yeah and its not even close Max has had 2DNF's which were not his fault then he had to deal with Bottas bowling taking out his entire bargeboard so he somehow with half a car managed to get P9 (Vettel DQ) Without that stuff max would atleast be 40-50 points ahead of Hamilton.

Leclerc was a boss. He just gets overshadowed by the clearly supreme Red Bull and Mercedes cars and is fighting for the 3rd place at best under normal conditions. Nevertheless, great lap from him and great performance from both Ferraris to qualify before both McLarens today.

@Wind Rose imo perez could be the one who touches with ham In istanbul he proved he doesn't care that much to risk a little contact, so he might as well go 100% in turn 1 and see what happens next. Lewis knows that he has to watch out, and he isn't in the position of taking risks, so he could back off and let perez through. Perhaps merc opted for a more race-y setup, so they could overtake max with a undercut or just by pace
