@@PlayAwayGlobal I have trouble defending. I play 5 a side and i try to defend, but i rush in and stab my leg out and it never gets the ball. Or if I wait for them to make the first move, they just go around me. I have gotten better at intercepting passes though. Whenever I rush at a attacker I keep his options limited and I frequently look back while covering the attacker to see passing options and then quickly move back into the passing lane to intercept

@@PlayAwayGlobal is it possible to be a good defender without being that strong? I don't workout. I only play 5 a side. I'm 5'10 and about 135 pounds. I like to consider myself as a intelligent player. I frequently make runs both to support the attack and to move defenders. My first touch can be dodgy at times. But when I have control of the ball, nobody takes it off me. I make good passes even if I am under pressure. I play forward almost always and I like to float around the right edge of the pitch. I use my left foot for everything. My right is not bad either but I never take shots outside the box. I only take shots when I am close to goal and I can pick out a spot. I am not known for power I like to place the ball in the bottom corner. Sometimes I try to meg the keeper and it works more often than not. Other times I will do a fake shot and dribble around defenders and goalkeepers. I like to think of myself as a humble player. I will never criticize my teammates in a game and if my teammates ask for a pass I will deliver. Because I know they are in a better position and this is a team game. I hate players with egos. I hate ball hogs and players who get angry easily. I will try to track back and I don't mind being subbed off. I am not very talkative and I am reserved. I like football and I am willing to compete against others to become better. my dream is to play in Europe I am 17 years old. I am grateful for my parents. Thank you for listening

This is the 5th time I'm watching this video. And speaking from experience commitment is important in football. As a young player my coach used to exclude me from training sessions, because I wasn't good enough, Andy team mates used to laugh at me when I made mistakes during training. But you know what during all that time out of practice I took the spare balls and juggled them. Trying to improve, on my touches I did so everyday and before anyone knew it, before I left the team the coach labelled me as the most improved an dost technical player in his team. No matter what situation you face never give up just stay calm pratice and the result will show. Don't go about complaining about the coach or your team mates keep your head low and work.

Being a good footballer should also include determination when you ate told you aren't good enough but you never listen you just keep pushing to make yourself better.
