Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane. We used to stay there during the summer in the 70's. At that time, there was a big macaw in a cage in the lobby - guess he's gone on to his eternal reward. We would always get a room just like yours - oceanfront balcony in the tower. No need for it to be fancy - it was clean and comfortable then. I'm glad to see that it still is.

Really had a nice stay here. And have totally fallen in love with Ocean City, it will be hard not to go back every year. I see a lot of people do that.

If your going to stay there . I'd suggest staying oceanside.. the firehouse is just a few blocks away , center isle,. Coastal Hwy..

100% yes, one of the best parts of this property was morning coffee (and afternoon drinks.. :)) on the ocean facing balcony.

Did they still have the gym

I believe so but I never saw it with my own eyes lol.. It's supposed to be down the hallway at 5:00 mark but no sign on any of the doors.
