This is a quality upgrade of a video I first posted in July 2023. ACT UP Live was the live call-in show of ACT UP NY on Manhattan Public Access cable television. On July 7th 1994, Tony Arena hosted, & Maxine Wolfe was the guest to discuss the use of Direct Action and Civil Disobedience to protest the HIV/AIDS crisis and its mismanagement. First shown on Manhattan Neighborhood Network. Produced by DIVA-TV, the "Damned Interfering Video Activists" of ACT UP, the AIDS Coalition To Unleash Power. Originally I only had a poor quality VHS to digitize, but I recently received a high-quality video from longtime activist James Wentzy.
