I love the distinction of QUALITY first, figure out the formula and then scale to Quantity.

I love this. Only trend hopping or mostly doing it with your content isn’t a good long term strategy that can help you to meet your goals, if your goals are to create content professionally, or sell your products/services. It can work to get eyes on you but if your time is mostly spent doing this, it can drastically reduce the amount of time you spend learning other techniques that can help you to build a career with creating content, such as editing, storytelling aspects of creating, effectively selling through your content, and more. It’s also true that people who are selling the tips to go viral, often are at a complete loss on what it takes because the platform algorithms are designed to change over time and with each change brings new variety into what is deemed viral worthy. Sometimes it has to do with watch time and you can get that by doing a dance with trending music, sometimes it’s telling a story with trending music, sometimes it’s creating incredibly short videos with trending music, the list goes on. It’s always a moving target, intentionally so. Instead focusing on building skills, finding your creative style is key for long term success in meeting your professional goals with content creating professionally or for your business. Studying your content that performed well and trying to figure out what the audience was most receptive to is key. These are tangible aspects and results you can find, reproduce, and master over time.

Lesson learned in real life. The temptation to trend jump never worked after the fact. Evergreen content leaves greater impressions with audiences (& the algorithm). Just takes time. Thank you!

Look, I stopped posting because all those things that really don’t work felt… authentic. I agree with Chris here. It’s exciting to see things shifting toward quality… for creating and consuming.

This is interesting because on one hand, this makes sense. People don't' want to be spammed with the same thing every day, and that quality is how you stand out on a saturated platform. On the other hand, this seems to contradict the idea that "prolific is better than perfect" put forth by Daniel Priestly on this channel a few days ago, and he makes good points there as well, where if you consistently put things out, then that is more opportunities to find your gems. I guess the takeaway to for creators to find their balance. Don't get stuck trying to make one singular masterpiece over a lung period, but don't batch create either. Where that balance lies, i guess, will very depending on your process and medium.

0:54 How do you review the performance drivers? He makes it seem like he has access to analytics is there a way to access analytics on social media? I mean it's kind of rough to understand what he means when he uses a generic terms like research and performance drivers. I mean if we all had the same access to performance drivers we would probably be doing that versus hashtags and time of day. It would have been more helpful to have examples of performance drivers, because it makes it sound like you need a team of people with special access. Most people getting started dont have money for that. Helpful video but kind of irrelevant until you can afford a team that has access to analytics.

Interesting, as this is the opposite of what certain very well known social media gurus are predicating right now and since some time. The thing is, this what is said in this video always connected more with my own logic.

i tried both. On instagram what gave me results is to interact and “use’ instagram as user, what i find fake as hell , like to be liked etc. On youtube what gave me results is to be part of a huge discord server or forum elsewhere, where you share the video. But i follow now pew the pie advice: do what you love and can afford lomg term, cause the algorithm will betray you someday
