Thank you so much for this!! My brother just got approved for this chair. He only has the use of one hand, so his quality of life will greatly improve with this chair in so many ways.

Marc, thank you so much for putting out these videos. I have, over the years, learned so much about the chairs that I am getting because of these videos. Even though I am a Canadian and unable to buy my wheelchairs through you, because of your videos, I have been able to learn so much. Thank you once again.

She loves it. Cant use it much in the house. It will fit down the hall and into the bedrooms (if I drive it...lol). This house was not built for a handicapped person.

I got my new high level and I really love it but I would like to take my old one downstairs to be able to navigate when I get down there. I do have a stair lift. Is there a way to do it like do certain parts of it come apart?
@Marcsmobility2 жыл бұрын
It does not come apart. I would suggest finding a couple of strong men and have them ease it down the stairs carefully.

I would like to know which chiars will let me tilt and recline without locking me out of driving or making it drive slower, also I wanted my current chair to beep before I got out of the range to allow me to still tilt it and drive as I have my chair tilted back some and a friend of mine could not drive at all if they tilted lol.
@Marcsmobility4 жыл бұрын
Hi, most of the chairs can be programmed to be able to drive while in some degree of tilt or recline but it must remain in a safe driving position

How well does this chair handle going over curbs or stairs. 2:33
@Marcsmobility Жыл бұрын
We would not recommend going down stairs or going over curbs with this chair, it wouldn't turn out so great for the user. Its meant to be operated on a flat smooth surface.

Hey Marc!!! Still trying to zero in on the right chair for me and I looove your thorough reviews! My question is which chair is higher floor to top of seat while elevated, this or the jazzy air 2? For me the highest elevation and sturdiness is most important! After this last question i'll be all ready to call your customer service and get my chair!!!! Yippie!!!!=)

So sorry for missing this comment. If you ever have questions, please give us a call and we can answer your questions or concerns right away to assist you. This answer would be dependent on which Quantum Edge 3 seat functions you were looking at such as TRU-Balance 3 Static Seat being 16-18", Power Tilt being 17.5-19.5", Tilt & iLevel at 17.5-19.5" and Flex Seating being 16.5-18.25". You also have thickness of the cushions you have to take into account and since the Air 2 has a fixed foam seat with 12" of lift where the Edge 3 has the 12" lift with multiple seat functions giving you a different seat height for each plus the thickness of the cushion you plan on using.

@@HellonWheels777 not very well... I have had a lot of set backs with it. It's taller them my chair I'm in now, It's wider so I can't fit through my doors, it was missing a lot of stuff when I first got it, it's not very fast.... I haven't even been able to use it, it's just been sitting... I should have went with a Permobil....
@HellonWheels7775 жыл бұрын
@@jeremyeasterly4428 Yeah, I am getting this chair in the next month or 2 and I'm already regretting not pushing for the permobil one. They told me that if I got the M3 or F3 like I wanted to, medicade wouldn't cover a lot of the power positioning stuff I was trying to get Because they only put a certain amount of money toward everyone's wheelchairs and this was the only one within my price range that wasn't a jazzy or something like that. I work part time and cannot afford to cover any of the features I need, even paying for Ilevel is going to be a stretch and I kinda need that too. (Apparently medicade considers reaching things around the house a luxury. ) I'm kind of worried about some similar stuff happening to me in my house, Because our doors are widened a bit, but I don't know exactly how wide this chair will be. I'm also worried about with the range on the chair will be because I am a very active user and my original q6 edge did not cope with that very well. I'm really worried about with the range will be on this one. I feel kind of cheated because this is the first powerchair I'll ever have gotten brand new, and it seems like they might be sticking me with crap that I can't afford to replace.

@@HellonWheels777 I was told by a quantum rep the battery charge range is 17-20 miles or 20-23 with the optional interceptor batteries.

@@kooliosis47 I'm not sure if I believe that batteries that small are capable of delivering such range, but I'll definitely go with the better option because it does seem like I'm gonna have to get the edge.
