I think the very act of observing the particle changes the result does it not, so that poses the question. Is it that conscious beings observe the particle or is it any observation whatsoever. The double slot experiment will vary whether it is being observed. For example i cameras are placed but not turned on the electrons are undefined however if the cameras are turned on the electrons have to choose a direction. I think

@@alexh2947 Wrong definition of "observed" It's never really explained so people tend to draw the conclusion that "observed" means "seen by a human" Arvin Ash has a 12 minute video titled "Why don't quantum effects occur in large objects? double slit experiment with tennis balls", which will do a far better job at explaining "observation" than I ever would in a single comment.

I revolve around you and you revolve around me, it just depends on who's point of veiw your looking from, but what people don't understand is that whether or not you see from my point of veiw or your own it's still its own thing, yhe reason quantum mechanics doesn't make sense is that fact that you physically can't perceive what the fuck is going on, thats why when you look at the ducks that are everywhere at once you see them individually being in 1 spot, but thats just your eyes telling a lie, tbh your brain has no fucking clue how to show you an object being everywhere at once, so it just says it's in the spot that looks easiest for it to be, and if you try to fuck with tge particle when you mess with the spot that your brain said it was, it'll always work cuz it is there, its just also everywhere else as well

Best way to explain the wave-particle doozy: take the common USB flash drive. You rotate it one way, it's in the up position. The other way, down position. But notice that, until you actually look at which way it's oriented (aka observe it), IT WON'T FUCKING FIT IN THE USB PORT no matter how many times you rotate it. This is called "superposition".

Its because before you actually look you’re unsure if you have it 100% right. So you end up using less strength to push it subconsciously. But once you do look and are 100% sure you have it right, you’ll subconsciously push harder.

@@thesocialistsarecoming8565 Sub-atomic particles may be dimensionless, but it is the fields they generate that create the bigger particles, such as protons, atoms, e.t.c. What do I mean by this? Well, if you think about, nothing is solid, not even atoms. An atom is mostly empty space, but has an area of effect (its orbital) that allows it to interact with other atoms and stuff. The nuclei at their centers also are not solid, since they are just a little area of charge created by the quarks that they are composed of, which then means protons/neutrons are mainly empty space. So, if you think about it, we are all just fields of energy that can have dimensional properties, generated by dimensionless particles. Wild.

Nothing to do with pixels. Don't be a popsci pseud, this shit teaches you nothing. The Planck length is not the pixel resolution of the universe, pop sci cannot teach you quantum mechanics, and if you really want to learn, a textbook is far better than youtube.
@targz_
@targz_ 7 жыл бұрын
Oil_Rope_Bombs The planck length is the smallest meaningful distance. Pixels are the smallest meaningful unit on a screen. You can zoom in the pixels will be really big, and they have a diameter, but since they're a solid color, and kinda the smallest unit of measurement at least relative to the computer, they're meaningless. You can measure physical distance in pixels, like half a pixel, but there's no point going beyond pixels since it's meaningless, useless data. However, there are theories that claim that there are things below the planck length like string theory, but these aren't laws or part of the standard model and remain as theories, and though there may still be (plenty of) evidence for them, they can't be proved and aren't generally accepted in most all--I say that since there will always be people with other ideas who disagree with things like the standard model--of the physics community.

Based on einstenium math, Gama (which determines mass, time, length, etc. Based on how fast your moving relative to the speed of light) causes the value for normal mass, time, length, etc. To all be divided by zero thus being infinite and not existing. Meaning that at and after the speed of light you take up an infinitely large and infinitely small space, you travel any distance instantaneously and after an infinite amount of time, and you weigh both nothing and an infinite amount. Edit: basically you cease to exist for all intents and purposes

I like the bit at he end because it reminds me of something my advisor at college said - Sociologists think they're psychologists who in turn think they're biologists who in turn think they're chemists who in turn think they're physicists who in turn think they're mathematicians who in turn think they're gods. Only the latter are right.

One of the earliest and strangest predictions of quantum physics is the idea of particle-wave duality, that everything in the universe has both particle and wave nature. Einstein was the first to really push this seriously, explaining the photoelectric effect in terms of what we now call photons; Robert Millikan’s tests of Einstein’s theory showed that it works brilliantly, and helped secure Nobels for both Einstein and Millikan. The notion of material objects having wave nature came in 1923 from Louis de Broglie, and the wave nature of the electron was soon demonstrated by the Davisson-Germer experiment diffracting electrons off nickel (a happy accident), and George Paget Thomson’s diffraction of electrons off thin films

Imagine a duck as a single atom. This duck-atom is made up of smaller components, just like how an atom is made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons. In the case of the duck, its components might include its feathers, beak, eyes, and internal organs. However, if we try to further divide the duck-atom by breaking it down into its individual feather, beak, or organ components, we no longer have a functioning duck. Similarly, if we try to divide an atom into its individual subatomic particles, we change its fundamental properties and it is no longer the same atom. So just as matter is made up of atoms, which are not infinitely divisible, a duck is made up of various components that can be broken down to a certain extent, but not infinitely.

There is no such thing as a curved line that has a crest without a trough, or a trough without a crest. The two go together to create the waving line. Without one, the other wouldn't exist. So when you speak of two particles that effect each other mutually, they are actually one. One line waving in harmony. The greatest illusion of all, is the illusion of separation. To think that the universe is not one whole. All of existence is that one line, without this moment, you could not have the next, and so on. Ever sense the Big Bang, it has all been one single event leading up until now, and to continue on until the line does not wave. When the crest disappears, so does the trough. When time stops, so will space. And so the line will become straight.

You think it would sound irrational to say that the "two" particles are in the 4th dimension but we can only see two parts of it because we see in the 3rd dimension? For example, if we could only see in the 1st dimension, and that dimension is just a single line, then a wave running through that line in the 2nd dimension would only be visible at two points on the line, if you could only see the 1st dimension. When the wave moves, the two points move in sync, but dont communicate with each other because they are part of the same line in the 2nd dimension. In our world we can only see the two in the 3rd when they are actually in the 4th dimension. I dont know if this even makes sense or if its plausible but i kind of just thought about that being a possibility.

Actually the particles aren't spread out all over the place before we observe them, the graphs you see that make it look like that are actually just showing the probability that when you observe that particle it'll be at any given location. The particle still exists as a "point" on that graph, you just don't know for sure where on the graph. Then, when you observe it, you DO know where it is in that instant so the graph "collapses" from "it's somewhere in this area" to "it's right here." It basically means "we can't know something for sure until we see it," i.e. when you're on vacation you can be pretty sure that your house isn't on fire but you can't know that 100% for sure unless you look at your house. Doesn't mean that your house is somehow not on fire but on fire at the same time.

Einstein also said "Private capital tends to become concentrated in few hands, partly because of competition among the capitalists, and partly because technological development and the increasing division of labor encourage the formation of larger units of production at the expense of smaller ones. The result of these developments is an oligarchy of private capital the enormous power of which cannot be effectively checked even by a democratically organized political society. This is true since the members of legislative bodies are selected by political parties, largely financed or otherwise influenced by private capitalists who, for all practical purposes, separate the electorate from the legislature. The consequence is that the representatives of the people do not in fact sufficiently protect the interests of the underprivileged sections of the population. Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education). It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights." - Albert Einstein

Obviously quantum waves are a paddling of ducks flying in V formation, this also informs the observer of direction. Up, down, left or right but on special occasions, their formation indicates greater or less than. When one of the ducks is celebrating a birthday, the horizontal V is underscored by a seperate and unknown team, one possibly made up of geese.

1:50 No particles only have a particle wave duality when we observe them because they naturally dont come into contact with photons. They just dont. So we charge up photons so they actually collide with the particle allowing us to view it giving it a wave function
