Not sure why he didn't leave at least on brick/ rock wall as an accent wall to show the history of the home. He took an historical home and made it look like every other home on the block on the inside! I think his airbnb guest would have enjoyed not staring at drywall everywhere they looked. He literally dressed the most interesting parts of the home.

Really enjoyed watching this. Husband and I have out of the last 5 homes made 2 major, 1 medium and 2 small renovations, plus built a new house around and out of a 150yr. stone terrace cottage that was in a ruinous condition. One question, why deal with the water pipes when you did and not before you laid new concrete down. Jackhammering trenches in newly laid floors didn’t seem to make sense to me.

Gotta say… luv all the insulations and drywalling… American living in Germany the last 26 yrs.. they just put stucco on the interior walls and wall paper it. The og electrical is IN THE STONE WALLS… so any renovation is a total mess. And without the insulation and drywall, the acoustics suck! I built my home theater like this guy and the result astound Germans… this guy is good and knows his construction physics.

Bravo pour tout,en tant que plombier je réfute le multicouche,mais bon...Le goût par définition résulte de la symbiose entre la matière et sa beauté,et là c'est à mon sens parfait!Je me retrouve à bien des égards dans tes choix car je les comprends,et parfois en te voyant travailler j'ai l'impression d'être à ta place!J'aime les bâti supports Geberit et les portes coulissantes style indus.Tu es comme moi de ceux qui veulent finir mais qui regrettent de ne plus avoir à faire une fois terminé!Tout est bien à sa place ,aéré,sans surcharge ,propre et chaleureux!Je te range parmi les meilleurs ,comme Solitaire 3A le Corse qui lui également sait bosser!Du temps,de l'argent,de la réflexion,de la sueur,de la douleur,bref de la PASSION!

I’ve always wondered why the plumbing isn’t installed before pouring a concrete floor? It doesn’t make sense to me to waste so much time excavating for the plumbing pipes when that all could be avoided!
