Spartan 69 YUMMMM, using Cool Whip sounds goooood 😋 But 🤔, since Cool Whip is dense and ‘airy’ it won’t be as thick or have the creamy texture like sour cream. If I used Cool Whip I would blend in - using a hand mixture - *_1/2 block of Softened Cream Cheese_* and *_White Sugar_** or **_Sugar Substitute_** (to taste & your liking)* with the Cool Whip to give it a thick and creamy consistency.

Our grandsons are 6 & 8 and they always loved to cook since they were big enough to stand on a chair and help. One Christmas their Dad built them a little kitchen complete with a faux stove w/ clock, a little stainless sink and hand carved wooden utensils. Our daughter made them a cookbook with hand drawn fruit, veg, ingredients etc. and their fave recipes, then she laminated the pages and put it together in book form. To this day they will pretend their cooking or bring their cookbook to the kitchen and ask their Mom if they can make something from it! A great life skill (like good manners) for all children to learn when they are young. I am going to send them this recipe, they’ll love it! Stay well Paula.

Always nice to see Paula in her beautiful kitchen. I make a healthy ambrosia salad: I use mayonnaise to taste (you don't need much), a little Stevia or Agave to sweeten, fresh cut pineapple, oranges, apples for crunch, unsweetened shredded coconut to taste, and bananas. I cut the bananas in miniature marshmallow size (cut banana in quarters lengthwise, then cut crosswise). The soft squishiness of the bananas is actually a good substitute for the marshmallows.

2 things that you can do to fix. All bagged flour settles and compacts during shipping: do not sift but fluff flour with a fork before measuring. 2nd: MUST use ICE COLD water which causes the small english pea size bits of butter/shortening to harden & disperse in the flour and that makes them rise rather than become dense. Pie crust also, same thing. Easy fix 👍. Most baking problems are just simple rules that our grammas taught us and why. **using too much flour when rolling out can make them tough, I use a tall cup instead of rolling pin (I am too heavy handed with a rolling pen). Make sure that oven is hot hot hot as the first minutes of baking are the most important for rising! Clabber Girl Baking powder, I do not care for the other brands & I add a jot more😉 than called for.

That's a great idea !! My little grandkids love to help in the kitchen . My husband and I raised our kids to sit at the table and we always said Grace before we ate . If they didn't like something we fixed , we gave them just a little spoonful and told them to at least try it . So our kids were good eaters . There was very few things they wouldn't eat . Miss Paula , when our daughter was just 2 years old she would sit in her daddy's lap and eat deer steaks with ketchup and 57 steak sauce . Our daughter would tell my husband, " daddy we need some more of that 55...7 sauce " . HAHAHA...!! 😂 We just die laughing and to this day ....we still call it 55...7 sauce, instead of 57 steak sauce . 😉😂 Thank you Miss Paula and Teresa for sharing another great video with us !! 😘❤❤

You should get your pig a friend if you can (I hope youre not going to eat your pig, but if you are disregard).
