I used a black diamond bivy, a kylmit static V pad, and hyke and byke sleeping bag 30F plus a light liner

I think it is wonderful that Minneapolis has a decent trail network. Cities are recognizing the value of trails to people's quality of life. What breed are your parents' dogs, Karl (the big black ones)? They look pretty cool.

it is a giant Schnauzer, a super nice high energy dog, the small is a miniature schnauzer

If you had to choose one tubeless tire that worked for long trips, with mixed paved roads, dirt roads and trails what would you pick?

Hey Jacob, In my experience I haven't noticed a huge difference between different tubeless tire reliability, sorry to not be a huge help
