Most people don't know that Pat Mahomes' dad was an MLB pitcher for many years. His dad was also a great football and basketball player in high school. ...Kirk Cousins has earned a fortune in the NFL. Look up his career earnings. You will be amazed!

AFC North is typically seen as the toughest division in the league (in recent history). VERY physical, very competitive across all four teams.

Robert Griffin 111 actually won OROY and was really good but got injured in the playoffs and that basically ruined his career with injuries

Its a pressure cooker job and a marathon, not a sprint. All pro QBs have been cream of the crop their whole lives at least until college and have been in leadership situations for just as long before they get to the NFL. You have to be groomed to be an NFL QB and have crazy talent and desire. If your team doesn't believe in you, even if you have the measurables, you are out. If your team and management love you but you lose accuracy, you are out. IF you decline but are still pretty good, your team will get a replacement ready. Your backups don't really like you and want you to fasil so they get their shot. The media won't stop asking questions. Seems like constant pressure and not sure it would be worth the money for alot of people. At the end of it all you probably get hit the most for the longest and will have problems with your brain later in life. Tough job.

In my opinion Washington did a smart move by drafting Kirk. RG3 was a fragile looking QB (small frame, runs around a lot = injury) . The best ability is availability. I wouldn't of drafted him until the 3rd round. I thought when they drafted Kirk, that will be Washington's starting QB, he's going to take his job due to injury.

Washington had poor injury management. RG3 should not have been playing once he got injured. And there's a lot of QBs with that build who don't get injured much (Vick, Lamar Jackson, Doug Flutie, Steve Young) RG3 was actually bigger than most of those guys.

RG3 was a game changer at quarterback, similar to Lamar Jackson and Michael Vick. A shame that his career was so short.

It was two hits by Haloti Ngata during playoffs in 2012 and reg season 2013 that ended his chances for a HOF type career but I think it was his own unwillingness to play conservatively, shy from contact and really dig into the mental elements of the game at that time, that kept him from a long career as a more traditional QB. RgIII can still throw the ball today. He could still backup somewhere right now. Hard to go from top draft pick to career backup though. His true calling is broadcasting and he's doing well there. @@williamdemerchant7295
