The Lacerta also has access to Lasher Ammo. Those moments where you have THE HIGH GROUND with super accurate, burst fire Lasher? Oh god. You will piss off people and probably cause 10 of them to drop everything that they're doing to come after you.

I would also like to mention the Lacerta's lashing ammunition. Same accuracy, lower muzzle velocity, but now it becomes an area denial weapon. I can't tell you how many kills I've gotten against players who ducked behind cover just to be killed by the lashing damage.

Just one tidbit, the lacerta is so good at range that a slap on a laser sight and proceed to slap people is cqc environments. To me the damn thing feels like the battlerifle from halo 2.

I was literally wishing for this video not 2 days ago. Im dipping my toes into combat medic after 95% of my life in this game being spent on heavy assault and realised quite quickly that vanu assault rifles are probably one of their most obscure areas, for me atleast. Thanks for this!

I love that description accompanying the Corvus. I feel like everyone forgets that the NCs 167 damage weapons are generally extremely low fire rates and laughs at accuracy overall. Like sure, they hit hard but you aren’t the wall so you really just need to not be shot once and you kill the blue man.

Clicked as soon as I saw it; I'll definitely be taking some of this on board. When I started playing seriously - and up until now, frankly - I found the pulsar's recoil and cone to be so offputting at midrange (as a new, inexperienced player, mind!) that I ended up shifting to Corvus and now after getting over BR50 using mostly that, this'll be a good resource for re-learning my vanu med picks. I'll always have a soft spot for my corvus because it feels like a nice on-ramp to new players whereas the pulsar bucking in my hands was an offputting first impression, but it's time to change!

One thing that I think should be added about the equinox is that the underbarrel grenade launcher is a very potent weapon and it has the ability to supplement your anti vehicle capabilities and every faction has these. The underbarrel grenade launcher needs more attention actually. It's an under utilized attachment in the game.

And all of these great weapons mean nothing...if you dont have the framerate. Sure you'll be dubstepping bullet to bullet as a john wick in a red circle, but you'll hit concrete when the screen shows headshots.

I fucking hate encountering VS. they don't even fight you any more, you just straight up disintegrate with their weapons. I have my trusty ol T1 cycler here level 18 medic, I pop out the spawn room and boom! A forerunner just erases me from the plane of existence with his fucking stapler/Iron board looking weapon that shoots beams of "You never existed" at me.

default pulsar, like the solstice, is complete dogshit unless you are playing very passive and only engaging from medium to long ranges. if you take this into a close range fight (most building interiors), you will be heavily reliant on your enemy to be complete ass because every other default gun will just simply out damage you. low recoil over dps looks nice on paper, but doesnt translate to live play once you actually get shot and receive flinch.

Should do a overview on all Terran Republic specific rocket launchers next as the rocket launchers in this game don't get looked at much, should also do overviews on the TR MAX anti-infantry and anti-vehicle weapons which also haven't ever been given any real reviews.

@@skullrak5951 TR rocket launchers ML-7 (TR starter launcher) M9 SKEP Launcher ASP-30 Grounder T2 Striker TR heavy assaults tend to also use the NS Decimator and NS Annihilator more than other facs as well but they are NS ones. There are other faction specific rocket launchers, however only the ones with unique features aka the TR T2 Striker with its multiple lock-on rockets, NC NC15 Phoenix with its camera guided rocket and VS Lancer VS22 beam launcher are the only well know ones of the bunch.

Why? All 3 factions have fire rate/damage models copy and pasted, meaning TR and NC have most of these weapons just reskinned. There are some outliers like NC 200 damage model, but for the most part all guns are the same across factions
