I still hope to get there. I'm in Reno, NV., getting the truck repaired. The 5th wheel is at a repair shop near Chad in CA. Reno is surrounded by mountains, so if the truck gets done, I still have to watch weather reports to miss the snow ❄. But the plan is still to meet you folks if I can.

The whole horn thing is really disturbing. It effects the dogs, children and some seniors not to mention it breaks the silence of a peaceful boondocking experience.

The honking of the horn is awesome, up here in Canada at 7 p.m. we quite often go outside and bang pots or honk horns in town in honour of all the Frontline workers that are keeping us safe and strong through covid ... and as for children they stand on the side of the road pumping their arm trying to get you to honk your big horn, and as for pets my dog used to sing along with the horn.

As a combat with PTSD that would not be a good thing for you to be blowing horns like that around me. As a vet you should give that a thought. Also laughing at a person's trailer burning on the side of the road isn't cool....just saying.

I will probably go to Quartzsite at least once, but in general being in with a whole bunch of other people just doesn't appeal to me. Kind of like Burning Man - I'd do it once, but no way I'd make it a lifestyle.

Aron and Tina, love the videos. Me and the wife just getting started on the trek. We just bought our 780 so now we have set the wheels in motion. How long is your deck on the tractor. I decided to leave it as a twin screw since we are looking for a large toyhauler. We currently own a screen printing company and plan on doing it on the road. Saling the sticks and bricks in 18 months. Taking our time setting up everything the way we want it. But any help would be greatly appreciated. Thks Brian and Cindy.

We have about 65" between the center of the hitch pin to the side of the smart car for turning clearance. I think leaving it tandem is a good idea. Ours works great that way. Screen printing huh?
