Dyess AFB was my first duty station after tech school, but I was a comm guy then. When I got off active duty, I joined the Reserves at Peterson AFB and became a C-130 crew chief. Great times! Thank you for your service.

Im a Sheet metal technician at Hurlburt Field Fl, I work on the Ac-130J/H gunships and cv-22 osprey. Brand new J model 130’s haven’t changed much since the 130’s first rolled out! Just hopped on a Canadian 130 and got a ride to the Middle East, strange times!

I flew back in one to EST out in 1970. Loud noisy and uncomfortable but I had a 5th of Jose tucked in my field jacket and slept most of way.

Hey while your in the Elkhart area if you like military museums check out the Grissom Air Force base museum . It's about and hour and half south on US 31 from Elkhart.

Glad you two are back on the road and resuming travels. Love the military planes working for the Air Force for over thirty seven years I have seen alot of them. Great to see you back and traveling! I only flew on a C-130 once from Dahran to Riyadh… as soon as the props started turning I was fast asleep. I didn’t feel the take off or the landing. Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson is pretty cool and of course the National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton is amazing! If you like other museums and if you get a chance on your travels through Indiana, try and check out the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis. Safe Travels!!

We are in Spokane right now. The weather is much nicer. Only in the 80s at most. And I have been in a C-130 several times. We did Hershey last year and visited the chocolate factory and the amusement park.

Another great video! I did not realize Maggie was a Service Dog. Would love to see a video on how you came about a Great Dane as a Service Dog......wondering if it isn't unusual that they train Danes as service dogs. Stay safe and keep traveling!

Maggie is trained to help Vets who suffer from social issues, i.e. PTSD, Anxiety, etc. We take her to the VA occasionally where she interreacts with Vets as well. Hey there Going Gordans. I'm not sure. Someone mentioned that the water was running slow when we were there so I guess it can have a lot more "rapids". We didn't see any signs that said you couldn't and people were all over the rivers up there. Would be pretty cool kayaking down that though. Thanks for checking out the video. Safe Travels

What kind cost on the truck repair? I did 3 tours in Nam loving them rocket assist take offs...I did helicopters.

Thank you for your service. The total repair was about $4k. Parts were just over $2k and the rest labor. I rode in the Blue Angels C-130 with a rocket assist take off and what a kick in the pants that was. LOL Thanks for checking out the video. Safe Travels
