About the Speaker -
Adv Manu Sharma has graduated from the University of Delhi in 2003. He is a very famous criminal trial lawyer. He has also assisted Mr. Subramanium before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court and other High Courts. During his initial period, he has mostly appeared against CBI, Enforcement Directorate, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (SFIO) & various State Governments.
Also served on the panel of Union of India during this period and resigned in 2009 to take up full-time defence practice. He defended Peter Mukerjea in the INX-Media case. He also defended the accused in the civil aviation scam Trial, Mr. Dilip Ray in the ongoing Coal Scam Trial, former directors of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited in ongoing litigation of cheque dishonor, and many more.

No, once the chargesheet gets filed before the concerned criminal court, the petition for quashing of FIR becomes infructuous
