Quasimorph | Complete Beginner's Guide | Episode 2

Quasimorph is a turn-based roguelite, sci-fi, extraction game. It even feels a little roguelike, in that you lose a lot when you die, but the technology of the future can replicate you so you are able to maintain your crew ;) Quasimorph has been such a pleasant surprise and although it is in Early Access, I thought it would be fun to create a guide for the game. In this complete beginners guide to Quasimorph, I will explain to you the basics from the ground up by starting a brand new game so you can watch and even play along. I will explain the controls, the UI, the mechanics, how to fight, loot, craft, survive, explore, and more. I detail my thought process, sharing tips and tricks along the way but I spoil nothing about the game or the story. I don't force a particular path or tell you to min/max, but rather help by providing the fundamentals so you can enjoy Quasimorph at your own pace. If you are thinking of buying the game and want to see early gameplay, or have purchased it but would like some pointers on the basics, this is the guide for you!

Hey doctor ! Great guide as always 😊 Actually the number of skulls in difficulty only represents the enemy density. But most important factor seems to be the target faction tech level. Also faction interaction is pretty interesting in this game. They will try to conquest each others to grow their assets, power and tech levels. You can influence all those factors depending on the type of mission you accomplish. More tech level means more advanced gears when you fight that faction. Faction with bigger power level means more chance to when a AI vs AI mission occurs on the map. So a faction can take over the world fast if you are only helping them. Typically Tezctlan need to be restrained or they become real powerhouse. I hope I did not backsit too much but just wanted to provide useful infos. Have a nice day Mr Incompetent !

the difficulty is the power lvl of the faction not the skulls .the skulls show how many lvls you have to fight ,the higher the tech and power the better items they have to trade.

on trading, it would be a Huge improvement if you can see your inventory, while looking at the stock market.....

my current biggest issues are getting missions and the trading system. mostly skipping days between fuller and mars, hoping for a 1 -3 star on mars and the moons

Don't get the name. Sort of morph? Kind of morph? How does one morph but not morph? If one morphs, it's morphing, not sort of morphing. -Yes I'm pedatically trolling :P I am amused how dumb sounding some naming conventions are. There's even shows that have an entire paragraph as a title.
