I even learn things! 😅 thanks for letting me be a farmer with you! Edited to say that here at the foot of the Ozark Mtns... Missouri.... its been a steady beautiful rain since last night! Still going strong. Our grass is green again and our gardens look so happy! Here's wishing you the same! ❤

I agree with you Meagan, all the critters are acting differently in this drought. Even the bears are coming in closer because they are searching for food.
@territn88713 ай бұрын
Speaking of bears, just yesterday my brother said his and his neighbor's bird feeders got torn down and destroyed. My brother first thought a raccoon did it. Then his neighbor found bear💩scat in his yard. And they live in a subdivision with a lot of houses, and no wooded area for bear to be roaming. I'll definitely be on the lookout for bear as I know they are sometimes in my area.

@@territn8871 yes they love bird feeders!! One of their favorite snacks!! I'm more worried about rattlesnakes at the moment than bears! I just walked up on a Timber Rattlesnake on Sunday. That was not fun!! At least with a bear they are usually more scared of us than we are of them.

My garden is in a spot where there isn't access to water close. Rainwater is collected and I've watered by hand just trying to keep everything alive. A few days ago my beans started looking exactly like yours. We thought it was a groundhog. Put up electric fence around them low to the ground and it stopped. We got a little bit of rain in the early morning today and could see deer tracks near the beans. They haven't eaten anymore yet. We've always had deer come through the garden but they've never bothered anything before. They walk through to get the wild raspberry vines that grow beside it, but haven't eaten on anything until now. Like you, I've noticed them out during odd hours of the day also. I've been fortunate over the past two years that the garden has produced abundantly, but it looks like this year is going to be a bit more of a struggle. Lord willing we'll make do with what we get 😊.

Megan, I knew to your channel and I absolutely love it. That bull is smarter than I thought. I think he doesn’t want to lose his girlfriend, ha ha y’all really do have a beautiful place. How many acres do y’all have there in North Carolina? Anyway, I love your farm life and I think if I wasn’t as old as I was, I would go and buy some land and start me a farm like that. I love how y’all eat what you grow so much healthier than what’s on the market in the grocery stores nowadays. They spray so much crap on our food that we probably don’t know what we’re eating. i’ll try my hand at growing some vegetables, I’m good with bell pepper, zucchini, and squash but here in Florida I just cannot grow tomatoes. My soil is acidity so I did learn that maybe lime would help but we also have problems with bugs and the sprays that I bought just doesn’t seem to do the trick. I try and grow things that I like to eat and tomatoes unfortunately is one of them but it is what it is. I’ll enjoy my squash zucchini and bell pepper, ha ha anyway God bless you both and your two sweet little children and I can’t wait to see another video, I can literally watch you all night. And you’re cooking oh my goodness my mouth waters. I would like to get a recipe recipe for your basic everyday biscuits that you make. They look so delicious anyway I’ll hush now and watch another video.

I have a driveway monitor and it's amazing to watch Now I have a question....I need to run a waterhose across the road to my beds...people say you can buy "a heavy duty waterhose" and it won't damage it if a car happens to run over it...what are some recommendations???
