Quechua Trek100 | Best Trekking Shoes Money Can Buy in India If You Have to Survive in the Himalayas
So, on my last trek to Sandakphu and being my maiden trek hastily made during the winter in the mighty Himalayas alone, I literally ripped my sheos off. Now, by look those flat boots were the perfect wild west, cowboy rodies material, but probably they could have succeeded in Texas only, not in the Himalayas. So, one day on my journey towards Sandakphu, even by that time, I even didn't reach my destinatination, we were walking on a seriously tormenting gravel path that laid on the way of Kalipokhri upto Jaubhari. And by the time, I reached this beautifully barren mountain village of Jaubhari, my flat boots gave up! Yeah! In the high mountains, now that also in a subzero winter, when your sheos almost come off, it's a real situation! So, helpless, I bought some liquid gums from a shop and applied on my shoes because that was just the begining of my journey. My fear was the snow and giant boulders towards the summit and I clearly knew it was just done, when both of your soles desperately want to come off the rest of your shoes. That day I realized, mountain is no fun if you're not dressed for it. So, after coming back home, my first job was to look for that perfect pair I was thinking about, that would give a tremendous ankle support, stone guard, shock resistance, would be somewhat waterproof for my trail walk in the rain and snow and obviously durable for at least quite a few years and all those high altitude treks I'm about to do above 10000ft.
Now, by the time, I'm writing this description, I'm already back from another trek as well whose videos are coming soon. Quechua Trek100 and I, this was a match made in heaven I can say! Whatever I looked for in a pair of sheos, Trek100 is all that! With them, I walked around 35kms in this episode, though very easy for me at least, but the rest of the action, high altitude and real game is yet to come! Stay tuned ♥️

Thank you for the feedback sir. But I think it's not about the cost or company that makes the difference. Question is, do any Rs500/pair of shoes sustain snow/water/boulders/hitting rocks on a mountain terrain in the long run?? In terms of sustainability, long & difficult treks, I assume no! I'm think of buying NH150 , but read comments that its sole is slippery on the rocks. Anyone can provide the review?

Hi there! NH150 doesn't provide enough grip if you buy it for trekking on rocky terrains. The shoes I'm using now, they have enough grip. Still, on mossy rocks, I tend to slip sometime. NH150 would be good for easy trails, or at least easy use. Hard, pointed boulders, stony or mossy surface, snow...here you would face problems.

Hey there! These are pretty good to go when it comes to any kind of trek. It has stone guard, grip is great and waterproof. I don't think you need higher quality than this until you're going to trek too frequently. It has all those qualities needed to keep it intact against any adverse terrian, rocks, snow or such.
