Thank you! I never would have imagined it would be safe to put pressure on the jugular, and it turns out this was the easiest, gentlest way I've found to align my sacrum and fix my molar malocclusion. What a surprise! I expected symptoms, and got relief instead.

Can this kind of compression mimic stroke?? I have mild Atlanta axial instability with a synovial fluid bubble, barely grazing my brain stem area. Everyone has told me it's not a major problem yet. I get very sick lying down on the pillow at night in very slight amounts of flexion with stroke-like attacks. I also fear sitting down in certain chairs because they have traditionally given me stroke-like attacks as well or symptoms of high intracranial pressure within seconds. From the DMX there is no indication that the transverse ligament is weak enough for there to be cord compression and a dance is not hitting my brain stem when I'm lying down. I got a transcranial doppler to check the vertebral arteries and they're fine as well, however, that was in a standing position. Is it possible with jugular vein compression to go weak and numb in both arms and legs if the problem is bilateral? Whatever I have looks like Myelopathy but the MRI says my spinal cord is fine.
