Freddie Mercury was the 8th Wonder Of The World, beautiful, unique and a complete one off. A voice that could stop the world and a charisma that captured the heart of millions generation after generation. I've been mesmerized by him since I was 5yrs old in the 80's. "There can be only one" is very true, and that one was Fred. I will love Queen until the day I die.

There aren't many reviews when talking about a film that mention the music score...quote from UK Daily Mail...it has fantasy,magic and Sean Connery but Freddie Mercury's voice steals the show.His soaring vocal on who wants to live forever cinema version is simply one of the most amazing performances ever(sorry Brian),Queen is the reason the film is now so iconic.

Weird how the album didn't do much in the states,the timing was wrong with the movie and you couldn't even get the CD unless on import,having visited Tower records in NYC and easily found Elton John,Genesis ,pet shop Boys and Tears for Fears,all the usual UK bands.Queen were in the 'classic Rock ' section at the end.Not sure what Capitol were thinking there.Freddie's vocals are fantastic on the whole album
