good morning its funny because I think he bought that huge house in Surrey with their first be payoff from their albums selling. The rest of the guys thought he was insane to blow his portion of his money that way. I think I read that house was worth 10 times what he paid for it in a year. When they shot Spread Your Wings he only had access to the land behind and not keys to the house yet. I believe he still lives there as well!

Queen unapologetically tackled many musical genres from hard rock to opera and everything in between and had number 1 hits or were on the charts for many weeks. Every album had a surprise - the reult of the uniqe diversity the 4 members of Queen brought to writing hits. Every member of Queen had number 1 hits - no other band in history have done that. Queen truly are legend. There never was nor will there ever be another band like Queen.

8:03.... man, that intro is just amazing. The chord progression with the vocals there... just really 1 step up but the inversion changes on chord 2. The vocal harmonies always did it for me with bands like Queen. Bee Gees also come to mind.

John Deacon provided several gems which are not always remembered. True Queen fans can remember 'Misfire', 'If You Can't Beat Them', 'You and I', 'Who Needs You', etc. besides the world-wide hits like 'Another One Bites the Dust', 'I Want to Break Free' and 'You're My Best Friend'. It is quite sad that he has never been fully recognized by most as a truly gifted base guitarist. He provided Queen with another dimension. It is great that this video captures two of his contributions. Underrated musical genius.

Dieter Bergholz u are a nobody and your opinion means shit. I’m sure Elvis fans, Michael Jackson fans and many others fans would highly disagree with u. In my opinion they are ALL the best in their own way. There can never be one best. We are too unique and different as humans for that. There, I just educated you. You’re welcome. Now sit your ass down. (sips my tea while giving u the side eye and a smh)

2:09 Taylor's voice was just as badass as Freddies and HIGHER but he never gets much love cuz well, he never sang leads on any tunes except this one and maybe a couple more but I think his voice on this song is wicked. Kind of like how Peter Criss actually was a better singer (imo) than Gene or Peter and he sang lead on their biggest hit, "Beth". Always someone better. Like how Richie Sambora is just as good at singing as Jon Bon Jovi but just not as cute. Almost but... not quite.

His voice is quite enjoyable but lets not be rediculous, it can not compare to Freddie's majestic one. Espesially when you say "HIGHER" I understand you have a sick comprehension of music....
@sakuraku79614 жыл бұрын
@@pantelisdalezios811 they meant higher as in bohemian rhapsody's galileo. even at the bohemian rhapsody vocals only, roger's voice was higher

"I'm in Love with My Car" is a good song but "Fight From the Inside" and "Tenement Funster" are the best tracks with Roger Taylor on vocals. "Fight From the Inside" has an awesome bass line too.

I remember driving around with friends with Queen 8-tracks blasting through the speakers. Legendary band, with a most legendary lead singer. Brian was my inspiration to learn the guitar, and to this day I adore them. Loved the movie, was incredible to see.
