I was there. They played 2 hours and a half. Best show I've ever seen in my entire life. Brian is an angel. Roger never lost his swagger. Adam Lambert is spectacular. I didn't watch any of his performances before the show to keep the surprise. Totally worth it. I love them so much

Yes, it is impressive. Adam Lambert had classical training in his youth, learning phrasing, the myriads of pitfalls in hour long singing etc. He honed his artistry from the age of 3 growing up in a household steeped in respect, love and music. His dad was a DJ in college.😊

I knew he had control with his voice, but that was both amazing and classy, for them to do that. I found this after seeing an interview he did with Jennifer Hudson and she brought this up and they did a version of it on her show. This beats that hands down. This is the first time I've heard that sung and actually REALLY enjoyed the performance. Way to go kiddo. 😮

Having always loved NESSUN DORMA as done by the late, great Luciano Pavarotti I thought no one could touch it. Then I heard Aretha Franklin substitute for Luciano who was I’ll at the Grammys and was stunned almost to the point of tears. When I came across this recording believe me when I say I was absolutely floored. Knew Adam was talented but never knew he had a range like this . Fantastic !

Why not both? It is an intriguing theory. The castrati had vocal chords of extraordinary flexibility supported by impressive lungs (the lack of testosterone allowing the ribs to grow even larger).
