Nice list. Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, and A Night at the Opera are S-Tier for me. Most everything else is in the A-B range. Even the much-maligned Hot Space has some good songs.

Hi I totally agree with the three albums in your S choice. Only I would change: 1: News Of The World 2: Sheer Heart Attack 3. Jazz The other albums I find very difficult to rank, but The Game, The Works, A Night At The Opera, and A Day At The Races are honourable mentions. Take care

I really like Queen but I realized watching this that they have no S tier albums is my opinion. However, the order in which you have the albums I basically agree with, except Innuendo would be a lot lower for me.

Hot Space is one of my favourite albums by the band. It has a tribute to John Lennon on there plus Los Parablos, which is also great. And I do like the sultry synthesixer and backbeat of Body Language - which to me suggests Freddie laconically walking along or pacing. It would have been better if Queen had put the single version of Flash on the album, as the film excerpts pep that tune up considerably. I have that one on 45 and it sounds great!

Queen's debut album all the way up to The Game is one of the greatest album runs in rock history. I remember a couple of months ago when you made a video saying you love the band Queen but rarely listen to their albums and at that time I could relate to that as well but I've been listening to a lot of Queen lately. It's interesting how you did this ranking and I started listening to Queen again around the same time. I was listening to The Game album recently and thinking that might be my favorite Queen album but then again any of Queen's first 8 albums could be my favorite. It's hard for me to pick a favorite Queen album. A Night at the Opera would be S for me and I can't argue with any of the albums you put in S tier. I agree Jazz is their most underrated album and that would be S tier for me as well but basically every Queen album of the 70s would be either an A or S tier for me.

Jazz and The Game are my two top favs only because I grew up with them plus they are still my "go to's" Good tier list Larry! 👍 Tiers matter too

Queen are my favourite band of all time. I am a massive collector of their albums, singles, boxsets, memorabilia, solo stuff and even bootlegs, demos, unreleased stuff etc. Queen II is my absolute favourite Queen album. A Day At The Races, The Game, Innuendo and Made In Heaven make up my top 5, but I'm unsure exactly how I'd order them. As you say, music is subjective - there are no right or wrong opinions. Some of my reasoning is about the music, some is about memories, experiences and how the albums make me feel. I even love Hot Space LOL. I don't think they really made a fully bad album, although I'm not keen on Flash Gordon (apart from the title track and The Hero!)

Queen was my favorite band growing up. At one point I knew the words to every song on every album, in the order they appeared on the album (BTW, Sweet Lady is the second to the last song on side one of NATO). This is my ranking in order they game out. Queen-A Queen II-A Sheer Heart Attack-S Night at the Opera-A Day at the Races-A News of the World-B Jazz-B Live Killers-A The Game-B Flash Gordon-C Hot Space-B The Works-C Kind of Magic-C The Miracle-D Innuendo-B When Hot Space came out I hated it but I grew to appreciate it. Freddie wanted to make a record that they could play in the gay bar (rumor hath it). It doesn't sound like Queen but it's a solid album. From The Works through The Miracle I felt like they were just trying to fulfill their contractual obligations. The records feel very uninspired compared to their innovative early albums. I felt like News of the World is when they started to become single oriented but it still has some pretty good deep cuts like Spread Your Wings, Fight From the Inside, It's Late and My Melancholy Blues. Jazz has good songs but the mixing sucks. Live Killers for me is right up there with Live at Budokan by Cheap Trick.

Pretty much agree with your rankings. 1st 3 Queen albums are great- II is my favorite. Except for a few songs Im not a fan of Hot Space. Cosmo Rocks I agree not really Queen but it is a fine album. Take care.

S-Tier: Queen II (1974) Sheer Heart Attack (1974) A Night at the Opera (1975) A-Tier: A Day at the Races (1976) Queen (1973) Jazz (1978) B-Tier: News of the World (1977) The Game (1980) Innuendo (1991) A Kind of Magic (1986) The Works (1984) C-Tier: The Miracle (1989) Made in Heaven (1995) D-Tier: Hot Space (1982) Flash Gordon (1980) Queen is one of my favorite bands. Everything B-Tier and up I really enjoy. C-Tier I partly like. D-Tier isn't horrible but could be removed from my collection without much tears, lol! A few years ago Queen released two live-shows "Live at the Rainbow '74" and "A Night at the Odeon - Hammersmith 1975". Those come recommended from me. It's easy for bands like Queen to release anything just to sell to fans and make quicky money. These are worth getting!

I'm not really a Queen fan, but I used to have Queen II, A Night at the Opera, A Day at the Races, & New of The World. News turned me off with the "arena rock" sound. I never replaced Queen when I was getting into CDs in the late '80s and '90s. I don't even have a Greatest Hits, official or a mixCD-R.

I basically agree with all your rankings, except for one major disagreement. I think the album, a night at the opera, is the best album they ever created. Virtually every song is excellent In my opinion. I would’ve put that at the top of the S tier.

"S" tier for me would be Queen II & the debut (so good), "A" tier would be Sheer Heart Attack, A Night At The Opera & Jazz. "B" tier would be A Day At The Races & News Of The World. "C" would be The Game & Innuendo, and I don't care about the rest.

The Beatles and Queen my two favourite bands Queen are the opposite of the Beatles, their best albums are the earlier ones and the Beatles best stuff is from rubber soul onwards Although Queen were an amazing live band and that was an integral part of their music, we will rock you written specifically for live performances The Beatles also did the opposite, they stopped caring about whether their songs could be replicated live. I'd put A night at the opera in S. And move a day at the races to A.

I never owned a Queen album Larry because I never really was a Queen fan,Bohemian Rhapsody blew me away when I first heard it and I thought these guy's are great but after hearing them a lot at parties I got turned off of them,as I mentioned in an earlier video of yours to me being a fan of an artist is not just about the music but the personality as well and to me Queen is Freddie Mercury and I'm just not a fan of the man,to me the band was to self obsessed with being the champion and rocking us and even their name was about self glorification,I just didn't like them as talented as they were,they were a great band for sure but just not for me. I think that the only great albums from Queen are ,,Sheer Heart Attack" and ,,A Night at the Opera", those two albums are the pick of their creativity and that was their moment. Everything else is okay or mediocre. They are overrated that's for sure
