Fun fact, the woman in the beginning was Roger Taylor's, the drummer, then girlfriend. Even though the writing is credited to Queen it was basically Roger's song with some of it written by Freddie

I feel this song is quite underrated; it is fun, bouncy and just lovely lyrics. What I admire about this video shows these guys are having fun and have even more admiration for Freddie as he was pretty ill at this point, yet looks very well and suits his look. His strength and stamina for his work and life are here to see. Fun reaction and great reaction as always.

Hey bro greetings from 🇬🇧😊 This was part a Freddie Mercury unrealised song which we hear in the opening seconds, the rest written by Roger Taylor who’s idea it was to film this on the back of a train. The young lady featured is Debbie Leng, Roger’s girlfriend at the time. This was ‘89 so probably peak popularity for MTV, the band splashed £300K on this or approx £950K in today’s money, the train travelled anywhere between 30 and 60 mph and subsequently the band had to take out £2million in insurance. By this time Freddie was already experiencing health issues connected with HIV Aids and was completely exhausted after each day of filming, this was filmed in April ‘89 around 30 months before he passed 😢

The video took two days to film and was filmed at the preserved Nene Valley Railway in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. The engine is 3882 (2884 class) steam locomotive with an open platform both were rented and repainted as the 'Miracle Express'. Freddie freaked the crew out with his enthusiastic performance as there were no safety harnesses

thanks, G&T - this a great song.. and the video is almost scary... no "safety" harnesses.. I have hear they were only going about 35 MPG, but that's still pretty fast.. and they were not choreographed... just winging it... I LOVE it...

This video came at a good time for the band for a couple of reasons. Brian was suffering from depression due to the break up of his marriage and Freddie had got the news his condition had worsened. but you would not have known that.

There's an interesting video on this song with commentary by Brian and Roger. Yes they really were on that moving train. It was written by Roger but he didn't really like the key change after Brian's guitar solo!
