True but not by himself! It was Rogers idea for the tribute and pretty much organised it himself at least the bulk of it i think brian got involved once people were agreeing to do it It was roger who pushed forward to do mih album and john started helping Brian said he got inv when he thought they were doing it wrong! Im pretty sure it was mainly beach organising at least the albums during the 90s or atleast the blk of it with them then I assume working with him what tracks and so on I think it was Brian who wanted to do the rock one it was Beach who put forward mid 90s to do the musical but he wanted it to reflect freddies story/journey but that was too difficult to work well then it developed into rock you which I think Roger and brian were then also inv with casting from the short list and so on 97 the ballet,yes they played on opening night and gave some suggestion but the ballet for life had decided to do a tribute for Freddie and their main dancer who also died of aids obviously they needed permission for music but it was them wanting to do it not Brian asking and inv with the over all project... i think they still tour the show I'd have to look it up but I can't remember how it came about to tour with Paul but Roger was inv with that too! they said Adam wasn't planned,using their music on AGT? and they got inv and it just seemd right at the time but that wasnt down to Brians organising...or him alone! thats not to take credit from the work,tours and such but it's certainly not by himself! Roger and beach as well as other people have been involved as well ! I'm tired I just realised you said 50 years I read it thinking you meant after Freddie he was apart of Queen but certainly not the 'one'keeping it going! that's very insulting to the others Roger said it was Freddie who encouraged them not to give up when tim left and re start with him not saying its all down to Freddie alone either but its certainly isnt all down to brian sorry if thats not how you meant it to sound but thats how it came accross but freddies different vision how to move forward with the band and his showmanship certainly did contribute greatly to their success he could row just as well but they have both said it was very much freddie who ws usually the peace maker finding the compromise between them,mainly roger and brian falling out Freddie the glue of the band
@hippiejane26833 жыл бұрын
@@bluebell3720 OK ok, I realize it was not alone. Didn’t mean it to be insulting to anyone and yes I meant after Freddie died and John left. Just think he was key to their rebirth. The musical was very important to reviving them and in the Netflix documentary Roger says he hates musical theater so don’t think he was too involved. Also he met Paul Rodgers and started touring again. Am sure Jim Beach was very involved as he is in all Queen stuff. Guess it was not phrased very well and I apologize for that but still think he is an amazing guy who is very proactive at keeping Queen in the limelight.

@@hippiejane2683 Im very tired but cant sleep so a bit quick to jusmp in Just the way it was worded.. Said 50 years... Its been Said it was jim beach who thought of the musical.. They were later involved with it 12 years total? Then roger kidnapped Freddie staue ! and put him in his garden!

The one's I would include in his greatest hits from a sentimental point of view would be "Someday One Day", She Makes Me(Stormtroopers in Stilettos), "The Prophet's Song", "Good Company, Teo Torriate(Let Us Cling Together), "Sleeping on the Sidewalk", "It's Late, "Dreamers Ball", "Dead on Time", and "39". Yes , I know the list was for five of his songs, but I just wanted to recognize these other gems. They were the soundtrack of my teenage life in the 70's and early 80's.
