Basically to summarize the other comments: 1. Was really hard to sing and play piano for Freddie, his voice was also shot for most of the year 2. Band, particularly Brian, didn't like the song 3. Song also wasn't very popular. Not sure why, but a lot of fans just saw it as a lesser track, even compared to some of the other album tracks on Jazz. Honestly would've been neat to see it stick around a little longer, but I think the band just wanted to play other songs from The Game instead and opted to drop DSMN.

Sidenote if you ever wanted to hear an ending to it, watch this. I was always curious where his vocalizing would go from the ending in the final studio produced album, it fades out for some reason and thus one wouldn’t hear where he goes with it, this concert you get to hear a sort of ending. In retrospect not ending in the released album kinda adds to the song’s title.
