Queen encourages corgis up aircraft steps at Heathrow in 1994 - Daily Mail

Taken by renowned American photographer Annie Leibovitz at Windsor Castle last month, these remarkable pictures – which, in their lighting and composition, echo the great royal oil paintings of the past – have been released by Buckingham Palace to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday today. They are portraits not only of a monarch, but of a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother too. It was, said one who was involved in the process, a deliberate decision by the sovereign. For as much as this day has become a national celebration, it is also very much a family event too. After all, Elizabeth is a proud great-grandmother five times over. @Joye J She was ten when her parents had to take up the duties of monarch and consort, si she was largely raised by Queen Mary who believed that royalty should never show emotion in public. Apparently ehen the Queen looks grimmest is when she is fighting back emotion. If you notice, after Diana's death, she began to show her feelings more. Almost as if she felt she had been given permission by the people to do so. But old habits die hard.

Yeah i was in the exact same situation yesterday as i exited my jaguar and my private security team (for my dogs ofc) took my beloved pets onto my private jet. I then made my way up to my private jet after i got the entire airport to close down, (for my convenience, obviously) i had some peasants try running towards me but my security team floored them as i flew into the night

I found it interesting that the corgis were escorted from the car to the plane, but the queen wasn't. She got herself out of the car, shooed the dogs up into the plane, then followed them in totally on her own. Many politicians and movie stars are not that independent!
