So, for that French word that's chilling there all on its own right around the middle of the song, google translate says it means "embellish it" so: to decorate something and make it more beautiful than it already is ... nice.

Embellir can also mean to beautify so yes! I know this is just how the song was set up, but the “you” after l’embellir, if also French and directly translated, could mean “Embellish/ beautify it yourself.” Which is hilarious to me

The last chorus gives me shivers Also I was surprised to find French in this song and I think it gives a sad note since you know... France has a bad history with royalty.
