I watched Queen Esther this past Tuesday evening, and I...... I had high expectations for this show BECAUSE it's in Branson, MO. Those expectations, however, were SHATTERED into oblivion upon experiencing Queen Esther!!! The stage in front was MASSIVE! However, when BOTH SIDES BEGAN RAISING to reveal such amazing detail.... I could only sit in utter disbelief, repeating, "WOW!" This production was beyond PERFECT! Being of Hebraic bloodline and having studied Torah 15 years and teaching Torah about 10... experiencing Queen Esther live truly brought the Book of Esther to life in unimaginable ways!

Honestly, we suggest you wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. They are definitely used to vacationing crowds at the theater, and you will see people in various types of attire. We hope you enjoy the show!

I feel like a little background is needed before I post my thoughts: Despite being raised in the Church of the Nazarene for various reasons I have not darkened the door of a Church in years. That said from I know the Bible pretty well, and this show was absolutely amazing. We actually saw it on a whim (getting tickets the day before the show) and we were blown away by the production value, the music, and the acting. The only thing I would add to you is I would recommend it regardless of the religious background of the visitors.

We agree. The show is amazing. Even the other shows in Branson will agree in saying that the production value is next level at Sight and Sound. We recommend it often for anyone in the Branson groups on social media. It is on our list of must dos in Branson. We are glad that you liked the show as much as we do!!! @@carolwolfrum417 I know some of them say they were recorded live in Branson and others say Lancaster. In theory the theatres are identical as is the production. A lot of the main cast travels with the story.

I have some questions: 1) Do you build two complete sets or transport the set from Branson to your other location? 2) If you transport…how do you do it? 3) Do you own the animals? Where do they live? 4) Will you ever repeat shows? Queen Esther was my first experience at Sight and Sound. Would love to see all the shows! Unbelievable!

1. They build one set and it travels from Lancaster, PA to Branson and vice versa. 2. The pieces come apart and are transferred by semis. 3. They do own the animals and have their own caretakers. They are very particular with how the animals are treated at both locations. 4. They have repeated shows in the past. It isn't always a guarantee. If history continues, they have a show at Lancaster, then they bring the show to Branson after 1 or 2 years. They have already said that Esther will stay in Branson until November 2024. The Miracle of Christmas will take over from that point as it has in years past. The current show in Lancaster is David. The next show in Lancaster has been announced as Daniel.

They offer any show streaming on their website for $5.99. You can also sometimes time it right and they show their shows for free or cheaper. At the time of me typing this, you can watch David at this link: www.tbnplus.com/c/m/97IDbs6H I was able to click it and watch it, but the ads that they have been running say you can watch it this weekend July 12-14) for $0.99. During the Pandemic, my family watched the show, "Jesus," together streaming for free. It isn't always available, but sometimes, if you time it right, you can watch the shows for free online.

We absolutely love Queen Esther as well!!! To answer your question…. Yes, if we are lucky enough to get the opportunity to do so. We love Sight & Sound Theatre and hope to cover each show that goes through there. Between Jayme a I, we have seen every show that has come through the Branson location, and Lord willing, we do not plan on missing any of the new shows that grace their amazing stage either. You might be referencing Olyvia Shaw. She wasn't Leah during the day that we watched, but the cast rotates different parts throughout the week. Their entire cast including Olyvia Shaw is so incredibly talented!!!
