The fact that the Queen they are talking about here is the same Queen on the throne today 65 years later is something else, there really has not been a reign quite like hers.

I was a baby when this speech was given by our dearest Queen and 66 years later when I first seen this video of this, I made me heartfelt to see both the Queen and price Phillip tour the Jamestown settlement.

My Dad Lt. Col. Eldon Lee Henningsen was the Pilot of this plane. He flew Air Force II 1956-1963. SAM Special Air Missions. He flew many dignitaries.

I was 3 years old, and when Queen Elizabeth came out of the Governor’s Place in Williamsburg, I ran out in front of her, while my Dad was filming with an old super 8, she patted me on the head…….True story, and my sister has lost the film😕

The fact that she brought special attention to where the slaughter began and (Oh! the embarrassment) the fact that she said "where this nation was born (WHAT?)" shows how PRs worked in the past. Today, this speech would be very different to accommodate the change in perspectives.
