Queen Kapi'olani Hotel full tour + what we ate and swimming at sunset 🌅🌺✨️

My sister and I could hardly wait to watch this vlog together. We stayed at the Queen Kapiolani every year for 12 years with our mom before she passed away. This place just holds so many memories for us and I’m just so sentimental about it. We just loved your vlog and watching the room tour and seeing the beautiful open air lobby. One change we didn’t like was the Astro turf at the swimming pool, which looks weird and the closets in all the rooms with the built in shelving unit that takes up the whole closet. I’m not sure where we would hang all our clothes! But it is really such a pretty hotel❤

Aww thats so sweet! I bet it brings back a lot of good memories whenever you see it. So glad you enjoyed the vlog 💗 The turf was definitely odd and is uneven like pulled up carpet when you walk on it. We were living out of our suitcase basically because there were only like 5 hangers and it wasnt practical to just fold on the shelves. Not much storage but i still loved this hotel! ☺️✨️

Just came back 8/17 and we stayed at QK too ! And got the package from Costco lol! We didn’t think it was necessary for a balcony either. We landed at 7am but check in wasn’t til 3.. we asked nicely and they got us into our room by 9am!!

Omg 😅 i love that haha! Its nice to sit out on the lanai and have drinks/snacks but paying extra is not worth it! They are pretty chill with check in it seems like, we got there by noon. Great place!

Go to the bathroom before you leave your house and as many times as you can at the airport. If you drink on the airplane take small sips

Thanks for the tips! I do end up thirsty on the plane and I eventually have to drink something but taking small sips would work better!

No prob! It was tucked in a corner so we didnt even see it until we saw someone use it a few days into our stay 🤭
